Leviathan Gap

Alright, someone needs to get the balls to hit this one again. But first... does anyone know where it is?

I've heard that too, but seeing as its so much larger than Pyramid or Chads, you'd expect more people to have found it and at least taken a picture near it in recent years.

So what's the story behind this gap? I've known about it quite some time but I only knew it was oldschool, huge and sketch.

Congratulations, you watched the video "Joe's big fall" and saw the link to that video, which prompted you to make yet another thread on leviathan to tell people that someone should hit it. and yes, if the name of the gap wasn't in the title of the video, you either wouldn't have known the name of it or would have thought it was Levinthal Gap. And yes, I think all this because you didn't even know where it is, even though you think that someone needs to hit it.

Ive brought the idea up to some riders, and no one seems to be that into it, the gap is just pretty ridiculous. If im not mistaken there was an attempt on it in the Levitation Project Video where i believe its undershot?(correct me if im wrong).

If you want to tempt the leviathan and survive you must be led by a prophet named Oz.

Without him there is little hope of success.

If i could find some help I would be down to hit it....I mean ive already gone like 120....and ive also come SHORT on 120 so why not add 30 feet. I wish there were people that were down to hit that.

i dont know, i heard if someone wears saga in xl they get killed by mac dawg

and the gap was blown up by ski patrol anyways

You better stay the fuck away from there. You will get yourself killed plus that's locals only territory and MFM will beat the shit out of you.

ive been meaning to make a thread about this for a while. this needs to be hit, so does pyramid again. it has a perfect inrun too and on a serious pow day it would be epic. think about a follow cam

yeah it really would be, especially now that its gone it seems so sick. but what i like about leviathan is in the video the kicker is like flat it seems like the just fly off. on a follow cam you would see the skier go whoosh it would be nasty

You can barely see it it looks so tiny in the picture. That would be crazy if they set up a cable cam following overhead.

it was built up a couple of years ago. if I can find the picture on my cell phone I will post it. The massive kicker was there for a couple weeks then got buried, nobody had a session. the only thing that got hit was the kicker in the middle of the gap that people always build. and yes its huge, I stood on it.

its atleast has big as chads in distance, then its drops down like 15-20 feet I'd say. so its like the biggest BC step-down gap ever, even though it is a weird gap and not as defined as chads or pyramid.
