I definitely agree with this sentiment, being that Tom Wallisch is just a flat out amazing skier. You can see  how on point his edge control is, and how on top of his skis he is at all times.
I would say though that BC skiing, big lines, etc. require more than just incredible ski technique; and that's experience. Lots of it. Sooo, I agree 100% that if Tom devoted time and energy to learning to read snow pack, terrain, etc. he could absolutely ski some incredibly scary lines, and even now, he—like Rich said— could outski pretty much everyone on this site on any sort of terrain in any condition.
All these people who think that Tom, and many of the other top park guys, can't do anything but spin and slide rails are fucking morons.
