Lame sauce

why the fuck would you want a pice of shit that replaces the best binding ever

and its gonna be 4 bills son

fks 155 on ski essentials for 199.

don't tell anyone i told you.

maybe its good? they're the ones that having been making this binding for the past 20 years or so. I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Im sure they'll perform fine, but they look so godamn gay. I mean, is no binding safe from the didlo design?

but here is the cool thing, when i was at a basin i rode up with a natonal ski team coach and he said there only going to be doing that heel for 1 year, the old heel is supposed to be back next year because this year all the racers that used the new binding hated it for a multitude of reasons.

so victory is had

i just think it still looks like someone pooped an ugly binding.

well like this guy knew his shit.

you guys know how much of a nerd i am, and and he put my nerdness to shame.

i believe him i think.

you can't handle my serve in tennis though, and now that i have the mighty art warrior, my mobility on returns will match my superior serving skills.

I'm done with Salomon's. The pair of s912's I bought from them just feel like complete plastic, and are loose as shit, so matter how much the shop messes with them. Everyone is saying that the quality is getting better, but I'm not so sure yet. Besides, I'll be dealing with a ski thats over 125 at the waist. I need something burly.

well 916s are different from other sollys, being all metal with no toe wings to get loose, but the 816s are a good binding, are mostly mmetal and are both lighter and cheaper than most racestocks.

Yeah, so I've heard. I've actually held and examined some deadbolts before, and have been hearing a lot of good feedback on them... heavy, but bombproof.

a lot of that is just hype. i skied the 816s a lot of this year, and i was not happy with them. my px12s are better. of course, i like my FKS120s the most (best park binding out there in my opinion).

i had the 14 din vists, and i liked them for what i skied them, which was almost all pow, cliffs and trees, with a few jumps mixed in late season when my park skis snapped.

i pretty much only skied park on them. [this isn't claim] hitting the big booters at mammoth, they prereleased on me multiple times, landing switch and normal. even when i landed almost perfectly, they would sometimes just pop off.

that;s wierd, mine never prereleased and i took them off some 40 footers, along with the big jumpline in freeway late season (50, 65, 75), and im not small either at 5'10" 180lbs. though mine are the original nordica version, though i don't think that makes a difference. it does sound like your bindings were mounted incorrectly though, which would explain the prereleasing.

I have had tonnes of issues with forward pressure on the PX and axials. I hope the fks are better...

how big are you? I'm scared to ski 12 DIN bindings now. It sucks because race stocks are so godamn expensive.

eh, it sounds like yours werent set correctly or mounted properly. i rode my 614s over 75 times this year in full park days, almost never leaving it and i never had a prerelease. im not gonna get into the argument but ive ridden pivots and theyve worked too but the brakes are too flimsy for me and i just feel better on deadbolts. and to rown i think, there really not that heavy. there lighter then my rossi axial 120 pivot heels and there lighter then the px series...

the only person i really know that rides vists don't use them anymore or are trying to get rid of them. some people like what they like though.

i think tanner was riding these at the x-games. they were blue though. you can see them in the '08 oakley thread.

px heel, fks toe.

i can only see the disadvantages of the px heel over the fks heel.

fks- pivot, metal, no rails, better flexing, looks better, super durable, lighter, sucky brakes.

px- rails, plastic, uglier, worse flexing, looks worse, less durable, heavier, better brakes.

VICTORY!

Seriously...they should've known better that to try'n pull that shit on us, we all knew the PX heel sucked from the very beginning.

If they'd work something out the brake system (something similar to what I've heard the Deadbolts have) that would be the ultimate binding.

no, i made i short old asian man for his wii, and your screenname was the first thing that came to mind, it looks like your brother in 40 years.
