All right, so Kerry has a running mate and he is from my home state, and he is a douche. John Edwards is a little pretty boy who made all his money of malpractice litigation, the dirtiest of all litigation. He used people and ruined doctors carerrs just to make a buck, pretty admirable if you ask me(sarcasm). But I am a republican, an aspiring attorney, and would like to make a lot of money, somewhat of a pretty boy, and I am from North Carolina and I still think he is a douche. So, straight from the state it self, which they will not carry nor do they expect to, Edwards is not a good person to put in the VP office in the White House, he is a dirty rat.

And if it makes a diffrence to any of yall, his son sucks ass at football, we played them this year and beat the living shit out of them and Edwards son.

so, if a canidate is influenced by corperate america, what happens? the canidate will make laws and fiscal policies that are friendly to business. this will allow for cheaper production in a lot of cases, less taxes etc. then, heaven forbid, these companies expand and are able to, gasp, employ people in your neighborhood. that , the devil take it, improves the economy, and we wouldnt want that.

on the flip side of the coin, you could tax businesses more, and trust the federal government to manage it. they could dole it out to public schools where it will get washed away in the endless beurocracies that might in the end buy a box of crayons, or you could hand it out in the form of government housing and welfare, a program that is of most benefit to farmers, and not really all that applicable to the poverty stricken inner cities. or, you could bow before the lobbyists and other special interests, and bestow the tax revenues on the aclu and other low down ignominius groups who bought your soul durring the campaign.

The average CEO made 326 times the pay of factory workers in 1997 (can't imagine what it's at now). That's up from 42 times, in 1980.

Take into account that Kerry might be waiting to unveil his master plan closer to election time so it is fresh in the heads of the American people. I wouldn't say he doesn't stand for anything just yet, but pointing out the negativity and problems (which are numerous) with the Bush Administration is a good place to start.

Edwards was not only brought on to inspire the working man as a populist candidate, he also is there for his rhetorical skills, charisma, and his great hair. Regardless, the democrats are not standing for anything, there only position seems to be anti Bush which is reminecent of the Anti-Jackson party, and they never won an election. You can't get far with having an anti position, you must be positive, stand for something, support something, and right now the democrats are really failing at that. Their pessimissm will not win an election regardless of how many people hate Bush.

Well of course they have a stance, they have positions on everything, but what are they running for. The only thing that comes to mind is Edwards standingup for the little man, other then that they really aren't about much other then getting Bush out. What is the 'real deal', what ever the campaign slogan is, what is their foundation, what is the embedded within their rehtoric which will make people vote for them other then the fact that they are the only viable option against Bush. The people who will vote for them are going to be casting a vote against Bush and not for them, no one is saying I like how these guys think, or I like their position on this or that. The only reason they even post their positions (do not take literally) is for the swing voters and not for the majority of their supporters.

I think Edwards is a great guy. Granted he is a lawyer, but he was a very sucessful one. I was very very excited to see him as the VP. Kerry, ya, he's not my first choice, btu I really do support him, and I am very happy that this campaign is based around the middle class citizens. That is what the 'real deal' is about. it's not about all this giving to the rich because they deserve it crap. It's about the majority of the country, and running this country for justy that, the majority of the country. Not hte top 10-15 percent. The country as a whole.

When they were running their little scam my our electric bill went from under 100 dollars a month to over 300 dollars, the place where I was delivering pizza for almost went out of buisness because their electric bill went up an additional 3,000 dollars a month. If thats not fucked I don't know what is. And then there are Bush's ties to them...
