JP Auclair and Andreas Fransson Missing In Avalanche

I wish this type of news didn't make it's way to NS before it's been verified. Really hope this isn't true...

Damn , I remember reading the CR thread a while back when I wasn't as invested in skiing and I couldn't imagine what it would feel like to learn it as breaking news.

This sucks ! JP is a legend

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

Clicked to NSG and saw part of the stickied thread title as my page loaded and instantly jumped back to make sure I read it wrong. I did not.

This fucking sucks. Hoping for good news soon.

The Swedish Mountain Guide Association confirms that a Swedish national is reported missing in the area, supposedly it is Andreas Fransson. Daniel Rönnbäck and Bjarne Salen were filming and shooting it, and they are reported to have escaped unharmed. Since JP is the 4th member of the group, it is not looking good.

The area is extremely remote, and the accident is reported to have been reported over satellite phone.

Lets hope that this all turns out well, vibes and thoughts go out to them from Austria.

positive vibes. they're all extremely experienced mountaineers- that experience could mean the difference between a tragedy and a scary fucking time

A friend is one of the crew. he made an fb update about being off to a remote place for 15 days last week so i guess something might have happened. As tradition bad news are always truth when it comes to death in skiing.

Rip both. So unexpected

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKFUCK FUCKFUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK. This is so shitty.

Noo I hope they're ok. Jp is a legend, an inspiration and has had such a positive legacy in the skiing community. prayers

Pff no..just no.. Cant believe this.. When I read about this trip and this crew I was so stoked.. They are all legends, pff really cant believe this..

This one has really got me thinking so deep man, I really, REALLY hope they are OK.

Fuck, it really can happen to anyone.

no fuckin way. we can't lose JP - he's a legend and has been an inspiration to me personally for almost 15 years. hoping the best for both these guys and their families
