For all of those who were lucky enough to check out Team USA's video before it was snatched away from us due to music licensing issues, I have a treat for you.
I couldn't help but notice how everyone got a big kick out of one of the "models/actresses" from the video. This particular "star" happens to have braces, which clearly was good for the lolz. I mean...pouring champagne on bitches is one thing...but pouring champagne on a chick with braces? That's some next level shit for sure.
Well, it gets better.
Our metal mouthed star was gracious enough to create a NS account in order to plug her starring role in the video, as well as her riveting blog.
Her blog, apparently, is a promotional tool that she uses in order to "get her words out in the world". The blog traces her journey in becoming a famous hollywood actress...one obscure action sports parody music video at a time. Other highlights include: Everything that she cannot eat on her new detox diet, her outfit for the day, her experiences as a celebrity being recognized on the streets of Stockholm, and much much more!
This blog singlehandedly represents our society's slide into self absorbed, fame seeking madness. The level of self-delusion and vanity that must drive her every step is nothing short of breath taking and awe inspiring. Thanks reality television!

The Team America edit is arguably the most entertaining 7 minutes of skiing I've ever seen. Worth every bit of hype it deserved. Urban shots are doo doo dum dum silly. It's like that Simon? Woooooow. Cork 3 hand drag over the tunnel is one of the best shots I can remember. Holy shit. I can't wait to see Norway....and the other vids for that matter.
I have a sneaking suspicion that heavy NS controversy is going to ensue...
 
oh god dude, i didnt want to say too much but that was probably one of the top 3 edits ive ever seen.

just that song and the shots....incredible. and fuck yeah, the tunnel shot was ridiculous....i also like the shot where they did the same trick just one rightside one left.
 
yeah when it officially drops, shit will hit the fan - there should already be a sticky about the Team America Edit
 
Is there an edit going up today or do we have to wait until tomorrow?

I know it's every 2 days but a bit confused because things have been changed around.

links to the leaked version, as all it does is cause Jon more stress

you're not going to be able to get all the videos because they have not been released yet.

jon's site is were they will appear over the next few days unless they are leaked by someone but i doubt that would happen like it did with team america.

man team america's vid was sick... if that deserved 4th place than Norway's vid must be off the hook. For just one weeks worth of footage it was one of the best edits ive seen.
 
Hey, what would you think of making one Girl Team for JOSS next year? Surely they wouldn't be able to compete with dudes but it'd definitely make the event more interesting. Grete Eliassen competed in JOI a couple of years ago throwing flawless sevens and nines over the big jump, so she would be one candidate for sure. Kaya, Sarah and Michelle could also attend. I haven't usually been a big fan of women's skiing, but JOSS would be different. What do you think?

I totally agree about having a girl team, that would give off a good image.

Would they be able to hit the same jumps though, I don't see why not?
 
umm anyone else notice how team canada's video copied pretty much exactly what voleurz did with a skateboard in outdoor education..

pretty lame and i dont think that shoulda gotten so high while jacking the idea from outdoor education

I feel that edit would have been way sicker if it had been higher quality, more so than the other edits
 
Sorry i should have specified quality as in video watching quality, Jon's site doesn't do it justice.
 
I have to agree, the night shots i feel have probably lost alot due to the movie quality, but team europe deff kills it
