Jon Brogan? VIBES

+ Vibes, he is one of my favorite skiers to watch and I hope he will have a quick full recovery and get back to shredding

first-(and most important) Vibes to you brogan, hope that you can pull through this and get back to normal very quickly and get back to being the steeze unit that you are

second- No one, i repeat NO ONE should ever wish for someone else to get hurt in a car accident. None of us were there so none of us know what happened. Think about how sad and hopeful we are to see one of our fellow skiers ride the mountian again. Think about how sad his family is hoping that there boy will be okay again. Think about how scared and unsure his friends are about what is going to happen to him. You just wished all of that to someone else... I dont need to say anymore about this

third- I just lost a friend last thursday to drunk driving and i have lost a couple more before him. Iv had several friends get DUI's the last couple months, and people who have crashed their car while under the influence and it changed their lives forever. Im still quilty of it as well as lots of others im sure but drunk driving is somthing that can be avoided so easily. The simple answer is dont do it, its not worth it and theres so many other options that you can come up with. Your body is not invincible even though your soul is, be careful

Regardless of what happened in the crash the fact is that a friend, skier, family, is in a serious health condition. Thats what we have to focus on, is to get him back, up and running again.

update on jon...

hi

everyone...jon had a cat scan and stayed awake for 2 hours today! this,

in turn, made him very tired for most of the day. he will slowly be

weaned from the ventilator but that will hopefully begin tomorrow. jon

still has a fever...and they are doing some cultures to get to the

bottom of that situation.

tomorrow is another day of new hope and hopefully more time for us to look into jon's eyes~

thank you for your continued prayers and well wishes...keep them coming~

hi everyone....today was a blessed day for jon...truly it was. as jon would say..

"yes sirrr"

jon came off of the ventilator and feeding tube today and although he had difficulty speaking, he gave the thumbs up and the peace sign to communicate he was ok. jon slowly will begin to eat and drink and start to walk in a day or two. it's really one day at a time for jon right now...one step at a time...one moment at a time.

he needs time to process all that has happened...

your love and friendship is invaluable to jon and i know as he lays there and thinks about it all, you are in his thoughts and heart. please know how powerful all of your wishes and love really are~

vibes. one of my favorite skiers to watch these days, seemed like a sick guy too, here's hoping for a recovery.

one of my buddies from high school got hit by a bus while on his bike earlier this week and got dragged for 60 feet underneath it before it stopped. shit is fucked lately

seeing as brogan is notorious for his edit and needs our support...

Anyone have an address where we could send some of these? Our vibes go out for him and his family, but they deserve to be able to physically see the support that this community has for a beloved member of the world we call freeskiing.
