Not true I have friends that are designers at k2 (Art Degree)
Public Relations, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Product Testing, Management, Shop work (not at a ski shop).
Remember a ski company is a 'company' they need designers, tester, accounting, etc.
You can work in a shop or a resort, but most of the time that is just season work.
You can also rep, but that is HARD to get into, they let go reps like its going out of style, so the good ones change companies. Or get corporate jobs with in there company.
Plus check out things related to skiing. I.e. Oakley, they have a few good jobs (IT, Marketing, Accounting) on there website.
Good luck...
