I havent skiied the JJs, so I can't help you as far as that goes, but my ski is 112 at the waist and Id from my experience it really depends on how you ski bumps. With those skis i can definitely pop off of moguls and makes little carves here and there, I am a good skiier and like skiing moguls faster than theyre supposed to be. anyways, Ill usually use my vcts on mogul days (104 waist) which can bomb pretty good, again, I make a carve every 4 or 5 moguls when i really start going, but I can also ski them properly if I want. Id say if youre a proper mogul skiier and want a little fatter ski go with something mid 90s or lower in the waist, if you want a more pow specific ski that does well in moguls id look for something around 105 in the waist, and btw I absolutely love my vcts for everything, figured id give them a quick endorsement, but ive found that at 112 and above there's a bit too much ski to really maneuver the ski properly. And ill add that Ive skiied the new EHPs which are a bit more like the jjs, and moguls are by no means not fun, theyre just different to ski and Id be scared of icy east coast moguls with them. I think thats enough for now.
