Seriously though. I thought the same thing, and I hate mtv with a strong passion. But Jersey Shore is fucking hilarious.
It's a show about a bunch of retarded Italian Americans who live in a house together. They get into fights, they get drunk, and they fuck each other.
That's the whole show right there.
Definitely has potential lol material.

I've seen part of an episode. It pissed me off. I hate the whole culture that surrounds Jersey Shore and pretty much all reality TV shows as well as tabloids and such. I think it's stupid and is a horrible direction for our culture to move. "Let's make these douche bags who do nothing all day celebrities and pay them salaries that are completely disproportional to the amount of work they do while still pretending that the way to become successful is to work hard." Fuck that shit.
Yeah, you might watch it because you think it's funny how dumb they are, but you watching it brings it views, people talking about it shows how popular it is. More shows like it come up and degrade society.

The show is so stupid...I watched the first couple episodes of the first season, those people may just be the dumbest people on the planet.

Let us all look at how much money the "Situation" and "Snookie" make. I'll watch it if my mom's watching it or something. I don't really watch TV though...unless it's MadMen or Entourage. Which I just wait to come out onto DVD. I guess it's a good show to make money for MTV, but I wish they would make a new network just for their reality TV shows.

i hated the show when it first came out...but now i love watching it, just for pure entertainment
i do not apsire to be anything like any of the cast members..but watching them interact in their own little world is just too damn funny
also i feel like if you took pualy d and removed the d-bag haitcut, tattoos, and clothes he would be an honest to goodness cool guy to hang around...he never starts any shit in the house, is happy all the time, loves his mother, and is pretty damn funny

too bad the soundtrack is actually pretty good.. like the music they play between scenes and just after commercial breaks.. you would expect it to be all top 40 but i've found out about a few new bands just from those clips

I think Jersey Shore is easily the best tv show on air right now... nothing beats the laughs i get out of watching that show.. i watch it on thursdays with my bro and dad.. were Italians also and find it fuckin hilarious.... I defenitely think 15 years from now were gonna look back at this show as being a classic in tv reality show
