Jersey Shore watchers?

I think it's pathetic that there are people that think the Jersey Shore cast is cool. They are bunch of alcoholics that live day to day to party and have sex. They all seem like pretty scummy people to me. American television had gone down the toilet.
 
sammi lives 5 minutes from me, ronnie used to get seen a lot around here. the situation creeps at a mall near me occasionaly. But the rest of jersey isn't really like that, but my town is.
 
I think the show is great as social commentary on the state of American pop-culture (any bets on which college is going to offer a jersey-shore analysis class first?) but this latest season, while still awesome for the lulz and "really?" moments, just doesn't feel even remotely authentic. you can't have people who are worth 10 mil living in a shitty party house and working at a t-shirt shop, it just doesn't feel right. They should just let them rent a house that is in their income bracket and film the shenanigans that ensue there. I'm picturing a bmw 3-series or some sort of caddy (for how much they make, they have terrible taste in automobiles) wrecked through a wall with cheap hookers and lots of blow everywhere. greatest reality show ever.
 
ive seen it, no doubt its funny/entertaining. but i couldnt watch a season and the few episodes i saw were enough for a lifetime. that show makes me lose faith in humanity/western culture

I saw pauly D in the mall once in saint louis.
The first thing i blurted out was "Jersey Shore lookin ass.....," and he turned away all nervousely.

keep in mind this mall was in the middle of saint louis-the most deadly and ghetto city in the united states- and i was wearing a 3x tall tee and a flatbill.
 
I'm italian and from Montreal... and i they dont embarass me or offend me... ... some people might think im a "douchebag" cuz i wear armani v necks, nike dunks, and have the same haircut as ronnie... but im italian and proud.. ronnie on ns is my cousin, and mikethesituation is my brother and we all feel the same about jersey shore.. its a funny show
 
first time i saw it was on a bunch of mushrooms. I watched literally with my jaw dropped and could not fathom what i was watching, the phoniness, i couldn't tell if this mysterious show i was watching was a joke or for real. seeing it sober i cant help but laugh. its such a joke
 
shouldnt be that hard.

just have MTV on all day, skip school and don't sleep.

Also. Rumour has it, Season 4 is filmed in Italy.

Jersey shore isn't the cause, it's a symptom. Our fucked up way of life is to blame. Don't hate on these people for getting paid a shitload to do fuck all. At least they're entertaining, unlike politicians who fuck everything up for everyone.
I don't idolise these people, I don't want to do what they do and I don't give a fuck if they get paid tonnes of money to do bugger all.
Western society is based on resources. These people have resources (their entertainment value) that are in extremely high demand and so they are rewarded accordingly.

Jersey shore is fucking hilarious. You don't have to be below a certain IQ to watch it and if you're too stuck up to give it a shot you're a pretentious fuckhead, worse than any trashy guido you despise so much.

Most people who watch jersey shore are sad. They like watching it to see how retarded the cast is and it makes them feel ok about their own boring pathetic lives. If you can actually relate to the characters you probably have a better life.
 
well even on the show she seems like a nice person, maybe not the smartest person but she isnt a bitch or anything
 
real talk. they do stupid stuff. but who cares as long as they keep me entertained for an hour and away from doing work i'm good :] haters gunna hate.
