Really hard to say if they are too much for you without knowing how big you are, whether or not you can ski, and if you ski anywhere near pow.

Can you rip on them? Well you gave us no information other than that you want a pow ski. I don't have any good fail pics right now.

the rule of thumb for the jahlove is if you think they will be too big than they probably are. and they are not reverse camber, and they have no tail, my 215 downhill race skis literaly have a taller tail than these.

go with the zero

in person, these things just look ridiculous. enormous. super stiff. and NOT rockered, i dont believe. i would think they would be good for bombing AK heli lines and not much else. but i havent actually skied them

not rockered (flat camber).... heavier than the heaviest ski this season...heavy
imo big ol' fail on nordica's part. not worth the cash

sick ski in person, looks really cool. but the tail is flat, not even lifted off the ground a tiny bit like plain old groomer skis. And whoever said they are heavy, you must be weak because they were pretty standard for their size. if you like huge skis, its for you.

they are heavy cuz there fucking huge. i find my hellbents really heavy compared to my cr's; does that make my bents heavy?

my buddy ben rocks'em..... these skis can turn it on if you want to go fast, they blow my bents out of the water in crud but have other disadvantages for not being rockered. I've hiked with his skis and mine and both must be heavier than most all other skis and someone prove me wrong but that sounds right to me... These skis will demand that you ski them though, not in the backseat but forward in your boot. buy them if you want to charge and think your legs are as strong as bode's. buy them if you never want to have a learning curve on another set of skis again because if you can ski these you can ski anything...definitely NOT recommended unless you guys ride backcountry or your resort gets dumps because I could imagine they suck on hardpack.
Boy you better wash your hands before you type shit to me...

I wouldn't call it a big ol' fail. According to tests I've read, they are more of a high speed/big mountain ski for powder days, than a powder ski for playing around in the backcountry.

They are also according to the same test really stable, and have a feeling of security and quality.

By the way, I noticed Sverre Liliequist rocking these in the freeride world tour, so I guess they are good for his use.

But as you say, it's really heavy (due to steel reinforcement).
