read it all before you even think of posting. i dont mean offense to anyone but this is definately true. it will get all the kids associating christ with being cool to shut up and see that the church is more than about being cool, and if you want a real church experiance attend a roman catholic cathedral, not your watered down baptist sunday school crap that you dont even go to every sunday. not that you in particular go, but just some people that i'm not gonna name, and who aren't on this site.
 
that's retarded. one church may have spawned from Jesus' teachings, but that doesn't mean the other churches aren't legitimate. i'm congregational protestant, and to me, this is like saying that any of us who aren't catholic are not true Christians, and just because we don't have direct apostolic succession? that's absurd. Jesus wouldn't say that we have "no means of salvation" just because we don't have apostolic succession. we believe, trust, and follow him. doesn't that define a Christian? it just seems harsh and unnecessary. pisses me off.

seriously how do catholics come up with all their beliefs like purgatory. the reason we have protestant religions is because the catholic priests would say that if you give money to the church your loved ones would be taken to the top of the purgatory mountain and go to heaven. purgatorys not in the bible so why do they think that its true?

All church is bullshit. No one man can teach you about God because one man has his own opinions, and especially not one that associates himself with an organization that spawned the killings of millions, and believes that you are going to hell if you don't attend.

"god" is human creation. it is hubris to think you can understand HIM. so don't, and just live by teh golden rule and try to have a good time.

people didnt create god. whether god is jehovah, yahwey, allah, buddha, tom cruise, or some completely different entity there is a god or some greater power who created the universe or set off the supposed big bang. the universe had to start at one point in time and there had to be some sort of higher power to set that off.
 
Once again the Catholic church has let me down again. Instead of re-formating the views of Christianity we continue to waste our time isolated and elevating ourselves above other religions. Our new Pope really has let me and other Catholics down by doing what the majority of our previous Popes have done in the past, piss other people off.

Seriously the Catholic church is losing members like its our new goal so instead of opening themselves up to new ideas we continue to be the elevated douche-bags we have always been. I can't wait for the lynchings and burnings to continue again.......

god does more than you think. Our relationship with god is sometimes like a cockroach to a human being. if you drop a crumb of toaster strudel on your kitchen floor and a roach gets it. the roach has no idea what has happened it just knows that it has something awesome. same thing with us alot of times when something good happens we might not take the time to consider that perhaps a higher power has given us a blessing. I guess one could use this arguement against me too but i believe there is a god and he works in mysterious way. god puts challenges before people to make them stronger. If god did everything like you said he would if he were real than humans would all be quite lazy, emotionally, and physicly weak. I believe that leading the right life on earth will give you the life where god is static through everything
