Honestly this is my last post because even though you look around 15 in your picture I feel like I am arguing with a 7 year old. If God was there when everyone needed, nothing bad would ever happen, including the death of Jesus. And Virginia Tech. And 9/11. Part of being religous is finding Jesus at times when it doesnt seem like there is a reason to. The world isn't all roses and chocolate waterfalls, dude. Me and you and everyone else has dealt with tough stuff in life, and there's two ways out. Cry and feel sorry for yourself, or get through it and ask for help. I can't believe I'm gonna end on this cuz this movie was terrible, but it's true. "The world tends to unfold as it should." (harold and kumar, haha i know.) Hopefully for you, you wake up soon man.

reminds me of a bunch of first graders arguing over who gets the last bite of paste. fuckin ridiculous.

if you guys read the thread and article you'd understand that its not about being right or wrong, but a big issue of the roman catholic church disregarding the faith of illegitimate (as the pope says) churches

Thank you. I am Catholic too, and frankly this disturbs me. Here's my two cents:

Honestly, all this arguing about whether God exists or not is pointless. There is no way we can know for sure, and we probably never will know. That being said, there is no way we can know if there really is a "true" church or not. It has been two thousand years since Jesus, and there is no way we know if the Bible truly contains what he said, or if much of it was lost in the years of translations, writings, false memories, censoring, and misinterpretations. One of the strongest traits that I see in the Jesus we hear about is his accepting of all people on all levels of society. If there really is a heaven and hell, I sure hope the God up there wouldn't exclude people because they didn't accept the authority of some human-elected ruler, or because they chose to say the Mass in a language the people actually understand. I really disagree with what he's saying here.
