I am 15, like 5'5" 115 pounds id say, i ski lake louise, sunshine, etc so there will be lots of powder days and i will be skiing big mountain. I also really like to do glades. So is the arv for me? Or is there a better ski out there

yes it would my friend is like same weight, height as u and skis at lake all the time and loves them for everything including park

how stiff is the arv conmpared to the ar5? people always say its a soft pow but is it still stiffer then the ar5?

i always thought BC skis were sposed to be stiffer then reg skis.... i know you want the tip to be a lil more soft so it ccan flex and keep you ontop of the pow. is the arv a good all mountain ski? i mean obvi itll suck on ice if its semi soft but does it have a nice swing weight? and is it solid in coururoy and pow?

I'm not sure I'd call it a BC ski. Armada calls it an All Mountain pow, which i think means its great all mountain and when there's pow, you can have some fun on it too. That being said, I agree that I used to think BC skis were supposed to be stiffer than regular skis. But I did a comparison of the ARV and the ar5, and the ARV was DEFINTELY softer. I would say that ARV is lots of fun all mountain, but it has some issues on ice or at high speeds. it's fine on cord unless and really fun in pow. as for swing way, I spin way better on my ARVs that on my PEs. Might be because they are 5 cm shorter than my PEs, but still i think the ARV is lighter.

good shit thanks for the info. ive been lookin to get some arvs or msps and wondering how they compare to ar5s and stls which i have owned/ own. i prolly wouldnt bring the arvs out unless its was pow day anyways so they sound like a good fit
