Is the whole 'tight-jeans-while-skiing' trend the stupidest looking thing you've ever seen? Really, it's gawkly and makes even stylie riders look like shit. Someone please make it stop.
 
why would someone ski in tight jeans, it's so uncomfortable. I used to be able to wear jeans under my snow pants but it got so uncomfortable.

thats what's happened to inline skating - lots of pro riders who had style and were wearing baggy clothes, now wear tight jeans... and it just looks gay as hell
 
It's about as cool as wearing huge clothes, hopefully someday people will be able to figure out what size their bodies are.
 
ya i didnt think people were going ridiculously baggy until the young guns came to stratton and some of th epants i saw on kids were just ridiculous i couldnt even understand how one could ski with them that big much less hit a rail or jump
 
Yeah, something about seeing the ass of every 15-year-old boy at the mountain kind of puts a damper on my day. I know your asses are all super hot, but if you want to show them off just wait until summer and wear a speedo or something.
 
its a style just like baggy clothes are. if there werent different styles, skiing would be pretty colorless and boring. imagine everyone wearing like, blue jeans and a t shirt all the time, just walking around. that would get so boring. i think its cool that people are pushing BOTH sides of the boundary in skiing fashion
 
my dad tried me to get to wear thse shitty tight ass windpants the other day. he's like, its spring so you dont have to wear your snowpants. i refused immediately cause they wouldnt even go over my boots and that recieves automatic gaper status.
 
i think it's cool to see a little variation. For some skiers, it really seems to fit their personal style, blake nyman looks sick riding in tight jeans. I think it would look pretty weird for teleskiers though.
 
i wear semi baggy clothes because it makes it easier to move around in. i dont see how someone wearing tight jeans could do a grab. but then again ive never worn tight pants so it might be easy

see the thing is I can deal with a skinny kid wearing tight jeans but a fat kid wearing tight jeans while skiing... that's where I cross the line
 
i do what my balls say, and theyre pretty mad at me for ski racing for so long... so we roll pretty loose

actually jeans can be somewhat strechy, i have no problem grabbing. and yes it is just a equation of style and what u like. so i think that sometimes tight pants can look good, i dont mind rocking them. also baggy shit can look cool to, its just kind of overplayed
 
am i blind? - b/c i don't think i've noticed any kids wearing tight jeans at the bird. i am going to have to start paying attention. i am now intrigued and want to see this style.
 
After seeing this thread i saw my first tight jeans jibber and almost tweaked, what a tool? No one makes it look cool, especially not Jon Hartman, are bum steeze and lame steeze are going to become popular? With those pants and jackets we are becoming posers.
 
i say we should leave skinny pants to skaters, they can rock them and still have steeze. Altough i think tanners pants are a little rediculous, i still think baggier pants in skiing is the best.
