Ipod photo? worth it?

i want an ipod photo, but is it worth it. i want it mainly because i cn send my pictures right to it off my camera. does anyone have one? is it worth it? the 20gb is 300, and 60gb is 400, i would get the 60

naw man especially if you already have a camera just save some money and get a regular one. but if you want to spend your money that way, at the end of the day it's your choice

considering you cant get an regular ipod WITHOUT being able to hold photos, i'd say do it

i just recently got one of the new color ipods, if you already have an ipod and are looking to upgrade the i'd say no it's not really worth it, but if you dont have an ipod and want to get one then yes definately go for it

worth it. no doubt. the battery life alone is enough to justify it, and i believe that it's the same price.

absoluty not dude... dont get an ipod look at like iriver or something but ipods such a ripoff... get soemthign that u can take music off multipul sources soo u can get your friends music and shit

iRiver H340 or iAudio X5. Both work as a USB host and are nicer than the iPod. Look into it yourself because everyone who owns an iPod will tell you to buy one.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Don't ask for opinions from people. Research it yourself and find out what will work for you best. From experience, iPods are far too much hassle compared to equivalent models from other brands. But they're so cool, eh?

 
if everyone who has an ipod tells you to buy it it means their pleased with it. with the amount of people who have ipods and are pleased with it as an indication you wwill most likely be pleased with it as well. plus they upgraded it the regualar ipod got a color screen. the ipod photo replaced the black and white as the normal Ipod.

I would get one but end of August is the Mac Paris Expo (thats where they unveiled the new Imac G5 last year) and you can expect some new stuff. the first Mactel computers, and as always huge price drops. im going to wait for that. because my bet is the ipod is going to drop 100 dollars and 200 bucks is the perfect price

well im against ipods. but ipods are the only mp3p players that i have seen that you can plug a camera into them. that is why im getting it

Have you not read anything I, or others, have written? The iRiver H320/H340 has that feature too (you need to hack the North American versions to enable it though) and so does the iAudio X5. The X5's battery life is something huge like 25 hours too. Read reviews like someone said - cnet.com is good. All three players have almost identical features (those that matter anyway). The only advantage the iPod has over the other two is it's image (if that matters to you) and the wheel navigation (very nice). The huge downside of an iPod over the other two is that you have to use iTunes to transfer music, rather than having true plug and play. The iRivers' only bad featurs (I own an H340 incase you hadn't guessed) is that you can't make a playlist on the fly. Read a lot of reviews, browse forums and ask questions. I'm trying to help you here, not saying to not buy an iPod - if you think an iPod offers you the best package, cool. Make an informed decision, that's my last word on the matter.

 
yeah i personally like itunes... also i don't think that you can beat the touch wheel for navigation, that why i prefer ipods, the touch wheel

HECK NO ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! but now all ipods are color, so the ipod photo is no more. if you want something witha color screen that can play video too, get something else. amybe sone psp. if you dont carea bout the video part, get the samsung one, its good.

yea defintly over rated...i dont even like skiing with music unless im alone or pissed off cause then its like ur socialy challenged

haha one time a ski patrol saw me "throw my ski" so he came to talk to me and i had music and and kept pointing to my head phone and shruging my shoulders and he kept trying to say stuff but i was like sorry i have music on and didntr shut it off then i got my pass clipped for a weak haha
