IPOD NANO WITH INCREASED SPACE

you could use the nano as a remote though, if the cables were long enough, just throw the HD (and a bigger battery, for christs sake) in your backpack.

why not rig in a PCMCIA HD? those are power-efficent!
 
that totally defeats teh perpose of making it small, and having music taht you can take with you, for longer than 6 mins

This seems like an Ipod political statement, but I'm not sure how to interpret it. Either it's emphasizing the size and overall awkwardness of larder hdd music players, and in that way making an argument that the nano is way better... or it's saying that any rational person would gladly put up even with ridiculous size and crappy battery life if they could just get a few more %*#@ gigs of storage space, because the nano just doesn't hold enough music. I can't really tell.
 
i like that idea. keep the 4 gigs for skiing/ whatever and have the battery/drive external, wirelessly some how.
