Insane curvy superpipe, wtf?!

Nike Snake and Hammers competition, Montafon Austria. They just built the pipe last week for the comp.

What about a transfer? Just gap to the other wall? haha.. and some thread here was worried abut pipe wouldn't progress!

i didn't see anything about Austria but i found this!

Dude, rainbow rail transfer over one of the turns?

Oooo.... man yeah there could be some shit to do on this.

Hahah! i love your imagination!

I just thought about their legs! they've gotta be soo tiered after that! Even Joffrey Pollet- Villard the man would have enough pipe here!

Since last year Nike is the main sponsor of the snowpark in Montafon, Austria. Now they build insane features (or even a whole park) at the end of each season. The pipe is nuts!

so many people are gonna eat shit trying to find the tranny. but once people figure it out with is gonna be awesome they would have put it on a steeper run and put more curves in. Like a skiing version of seylynn bowl

That tranny would be nuts, seems like it be super hard to get it perfect, either undershoot it or take it to the flat.

That looks sick. reminds me of the Trans Am setup at PC. I got to ride it last week and it was so fun.

+ k for embed

It's amazing how the jibber website still has no idea about the best terrain park building company out there and what they do....

Did you ever go to Talisman and ride their upper pipe back 'in the day'? Their upper pipe had a kink like that in it, and up until 2000 (I think?) they wouldn't let skiers in the main pipe, only the kinked upper pipe. Shit was hilarious, fun, and sketchy all wrapped up in a neat little package.

Reminds me of that final pipe in Shaun White Snowboarding where you had to get a higher score than Shaun. I believe that one curved around like this.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Awesome. Regardless of how good it is I'm always down to see people push the boundaries.

Especially in areas that are almost completely standard. Half pipes have seen little tweaking over the years. the transitions and height have changed but they've been pretty damn consistent.

This is pretty damn cool, some skateboarding shit. You have to try new things once in a while to get anywhere. Nobody has the money or the time to build a snake run halfpipe to find out if it's cool or a bust, glad it's been done.

FUCK YEAH

That curve would suck. This isn't tony hawk where you'd track around the corner. You'd be straight fucked if you messed your takeoff

because snowboarders come up with it first and then have the initiative/money to make it happen.

this is actually so cool though. I hope this catches on, I want to see more of this stuff. this +the travis rice backcountry slopestyle whatever the fuck he called it are the sickest ideas in a long while.
