Insane curvy superpipe, wtf?!

honestly snowboarding and skiing shouldnt have this huge rivalry between sports. Obviously both have dope ideas and innovations that both could benefit from

Ya but the point of this thread was about a snake run in a pipe. A couple rails and jumps are irrelevant and do not make up for the fact that it was a banked slalom. Not saying it sucked, just disappointing.

It wasn't a banked slalom though. It's a combination of racing and tricks. You get points for the tricks you do. Your score and time are put together to give a final score.

You've never met a professional snowboarder, have you? There are plenty of them out there, regardless of age.

yeah, and you could boost out of the pipe but would land on the deck or fall into the bottom alll the time because thats how gravity works. you fall in an arch that wont turn side to side to meet your landing perfectly on the vert. i hope that made sense. personally i think this is a stupid idea.

A little more info and better shots of the course:

I'd love to see the bowl session though.

Wait a second...these are two different things.

Snake & Hammers was a combined bank slalom/slopestyle competition.

Chosen Sessions was last season (2011/2012). It was a series of sessions (best line, bowl, and big air) to choose a new Nike pro rider.
