Thats damn close the world record 24 hour snowfall. Back in high school I did a report on the 1986 February storm in Tahoe. I guess there was a reported 76" in 24 hours up in mt rose meadows which tied the world record. The storm overall produced 15-20 feet of snow, but with 20-30 inches of water content.So if you want to know the deepest powder from a storm, that might be it, but definitely not the most enjoyable.
Hopefully Tahoe can get out of this drought and back into these trends.
