whats up everyone..this is really weird for me but here we go......im a pro skier now....wow that was easier than i thought.....its funny....mike nick did it....mike wilson did it...why cant i do it....well ive decided to do it but with much more vengence for skiboarding than seen from pro skiboarders in the past.....but theres another thing...i dont like competing....so i dont think i will outside of japan............cool?

there is still a scene and its stronger than ever.

There is no hard feelings im just pissed most skiiers think that skiboarding is for pussys. That is not true.

i have never skied in my life. Have you ever heard of a die hard?

i went to the vermont open to compete but ended up getting stoned and walking around the place.

i did get a chance to ski, and it was a really good feeling. I have never skied yet i can jump on a pair of skis and feel like ive rode them all my life due to the help of skiboarding.

there are no haters because u all suck, no badaasss because u all suck, learn how to really ski u tool bag, get some 193's under ur feet, and i know for a fact u would not be able to make turns, let alone have the balls to go down a run, ur "runs" are like cat tracks dude, dont get too full of the whole ski board community, no one is hitting 80ft tables doing cork 10's, there hitting 5 ft tables doing no grab 5's maybe 7's, SIICCCCKKKKKK. ski boarding is not skiing
 
jsu to clear this up, you dont SKI, u ride on snow blades, and who cares if people ski for money, its alot of pros jobs to be a skier, and a lot cant hold down a full time job because skiing is there job, and jus because skiiers get paid to compete doesnt mean anything, it means skiing is popular, and skiboarding is fuckin lame, and no one likes it

do u understand at all that skiers actually have areason for hating on skiboarders?!!??!?

let me break it down for you. to start off skiboarding is like a degression or the opposite of progression for skiing. lets just say that skiboarding was around before skiing, people would find it kind of gay going of little 10ft jumps and not being able to go fast so some crazy scientists would come up with the idea that longer skiis is the answer. then you can go off jumps 10 times bigger and do tricks at least twice as big with a grab or two instead of some skiboard tap. so u will never prove to us the skiboarding is worth even thinking about.

also i dont think you can go straight from skiboarding and go pro, i think your full of shit. how the hell is experience going 2mph of tiny jumps and doing sketchy backflips or sketchy switch 7s or 10s gona help? any skier ive heard is even close to being pro can do that with his eyes closed.

so there, if this isnt an alias, am i missing something?
 
Personally, I'm not going to lie, skiboarding is a crapload different than skiing.

I my opinion, it wasn't really a cool move to bust in and go, "check me out, i'm hot shit!" in the NS boards, since no one here gives a flying fart about skiboarding anyways. It's cool that you can land a backflip and sketchy 7's or 9's on skiboards, but skiing is a lot different. for one, our planks aren't a foot long. you can't spin as fast on longer skis. I'd say you could probably land a 360 if you tried hard on your first day, but that's iffy.

plus, no offense, nearly every decent NS'r on here can throw down off of larger jumps and better rails than the world cup video you posted. I'm not saying I could do better than you on skiboards, but i'd be willing to bet that my non-sponsored 1 month in the park steeze could beat your sponsored, one day on skis steeze.
 
hmm thats the opposite of what i did...

this was never about myself its about skiboarding and the oppurtunitys it will have in the futre. and i have rode skis..... yes but not in front of anyone for a reason...................and ya the world cup jump was very small....i guess that happens when your in romania.......i respect skiiers and love watching video......but no i did not post on this forum to get credibility.........just to stir up a good conversation and see some of your opinions...to see if anything has changed in 4 or 5 years.......positive or negative..
