The only reason you made this thread was to shamless self promote yourself. Now I don't now about the industry you're coming from, but here in the ski industry which has a surplus of talent and sick riding, you can't just do that. Again I don't really know how the industry you're coming from works, but in this one if you really something special, people will find you and posting a thread like this just makes you look pathetic.
Then you come on here and start bragging that you have NEVER skied yet are sponsored and start acting like you can own any skier because you're the shit at ski boarding. You can't just leave one sport and assume that you've got a nice place reserved in another one.
And that's why you've been flamed. It doesn't really have anything to do with ski boarding, it has to do with how much of an asshole you've displayed yourself to be. You can't come to a place like NS, which is full of kids who basically spend their entire lives on the hill, living and loving skiing and start acting like you're so much better than all these kids when you aren't even in the sport.
Look at any of the other skiboarders turned skiers that you've mentioned already. Do think those dudes got online and started announcing their arrival? No man, they went out on the mountain and really got their shit down and became sick skiers. Props to them.
Anyways, you seem pretty convinced that skiboarding is doing ill right now, so why don't you just stick with that?
