I'm lying in a bed for 10 days. Here's my story.

I'm up!

I had a MRI this morning and then when i got back from that they sat me up slowly and eventually i stood up. As soon as i did stand up it felt like i had a few drinks because i couldn't really keep my balance well. The bottom of my feet had the weirdest tingling feeling, like a bunch of soft needles were touching the bottom of my feet, it was weird. But my knees hurt so that should go away after walking for a bit. But yea it feels weird, like you're learning to walk again, but its cool. So i have to go do this strength assesment test now and see how it measures to the test i took before i layed down, so i'll be curious to how less i can lift and stuff. I'll update this again later on in the day.

So i just went down and did the strength assesment test. It's just this leg test thing and i did perform less than what i did before, but not much at all. It was this machine that you sit up straight in and then extend your leg straight and then pull it back. Before the bed rest i was able to do the force of roughly 950 newtons of force, and then today I did 870 newtons, so it's really not a huge difference which i was surprised. A couple guys apparently actually performed stronger than they had done before the bed rest which is weird. But now i'm just gonna walk as much as i can to get everything working again because I'm here still until monday morning.

yea i think it was worth it. it was a hell of an experience so i'll always remember doing this and all, and i made some good money

as they cancel your check because of you sitting up the 2 times to stretch your back hahaha... congrats on finishing

Holy crap, I gotta say congratulations, I don't think I would be able to lie down for 10 days for just a few grands (just meaning I could only do it for a lot more). Hope you get no side effects. Out of curiosity how old are you?

thats a badass deal man. my friend and his buddy did a medical test thing this summer where they got $100 a day to be infected with malaria then cured. they had to goto this lab and be bit my 5 mosquito's that carried malaria and then when the symptoms showed up a few days later they had to go back and start treatment, then every night from then on they had to spend the night at the lab. my friend only got a mild case and made 1500 but his buddy got it pretty bad and was in for a few more days but had a much worse experience. your deal sounds a shitload better than getting malaria, i gotta see if i can find something like that around where i live.

woa wtf malaria? sketchyyyy.

that's kind of weird that hte guys did more, they must ahve been pretty fatigued from doing stuff and just needed some rest, poor little gaffers

how much a day did you sleep

what?!?! that's rediculous I wouldn't do that. That's like saying I'm going to give you cancer, and then we're gonna try to make you better.
