unless ALL you do is backcountry and you never see less than at least 3-4 feet of fresh, why bother with such an unversatile ski?  the guy i work with has a rossi bandit b2.  80mm waist, with a good powder flex.  he can tear up the ice or the waist deep.  In more than waist deep he'd want a fatter ski, but seriously, that 80mm waist takes him everywhere and anywhere... except the park, but hey, neither would a swallow tail.  swallow tails are allergic to rails.
Get something like a Seth Pistol or Scratch BC.  unless all you ever see if waist deep and more.
