If you were a billionaire ...

If you were a billionaire and you could do anything you want in ski industry, what would you do ?

I would like to build such objects as woodward, but in countries 'bad-located' to promote this sport globally, And you ?..

id turn my entire hill into rails, every single run

One mile long rail. Whoever* slides it gets a million dollars

*No knuckle-draggers allowed

Start a non profit heli/cat operation in the north cascades with costs affordable to your average skier

I would make "SKI" the video game. It would basically be SKATE, but you could also ski real resorts. Since i'm a billionaire it would be freeeeeeeee!

that already exists its called jiblife

start my own brand. buy up mountain resorts and give them good parks. make lift tickets cheaper. make free ski-rentals for poor people. make a freestyle sports academy open for everyone who just likes the sport but is not necessarly good at it. turn my home into one big ass skatepark. finally build a backyard setup. also a big ass tramp in my backyard. and a pool. make a world trip. free food for everyone. most importantly share all this with friends.

damn life would be fun with money

Buy a bunch of land in the mountains and make it an only park resort. half for skiers and half for boarders! Also start a company to help teach kids how to park ski with the best of the best

Well, first I'd also buy Vail and turn it into Park City.

In terms of other stuff, I'd give J like a million dollars, then I'd buy a bunch of land somewhere in BC, build large booters in summer, buy a helicopter and some snowmobiles and session.......

Also, first post on a front page topic.

Would probably buy a mountain and then build a nice facility like woodward with tons of skateparks, foam pits, tramps, huge pool, a hockey rink and a huge indoor fridge to shred all year long at the base and of course lots of space to have friends live there

Id buy every single lift ticket that the mountain can sell and have the hill to myself every day

name 1 mountain that has a set number of tickets they can sell each day

Hmm, this is a tough one.

First, I would buy out some land in the alps and build a mega park, with amazing training facilities at the bottom that can be used year round with really affordable rental housing in the area as well. Next, I would run an invitational in said park every year for AMs and people without sponsored, kinda like superunknown except the winner bags contracts for $50,000 a year, funding sick ski trips and allowing lots of unknown skiers get some insane footy.

Next, I would probably try to invest in several big ski companies like Faction, buy Oakley from luxottica and move their production back to America.

Finally, I would open a shop at the bottom of this place that sells ski gear at super cheap prices by buying in bulk, and literally selling at a high enough price to keep the shop self sufficient. It would also do internet delivery, and thus would quickly overtake the likes of blue tomato for unrivalled internet ski-gear purchasing.

Boom, take that bitches.

1.)develop the electric snowmobile

2.)finally get a stiff AT boot with replaceable soles to the market, available down to 22.5 so my lady can even get a pair.

I would build indoor ski areas in the midwest because of our short seasons. And in Texas and stuff so people could have the option of skiing and boarding
