If you could invent something, what would it be?

skis with high impact plastic for edges, like metal but are a layor of your base so they dont catch on rails and dystroy your skis, i think it would work for a park ski that doesnt need a really sharp edge.

and by a yaor i mean that it would be like [------------------------------]

^but the other way around, the square brackets being the edges and the flat pice being sandwithched between the core and base material
 
small device that would make a beep when you hit a button much like the find the phone thing but you can attach it to about anything like keys wallet cell phone when its on silent.
 
the problem with binding inserts for skis is that there are so many different patterns for the binding screws, that it is really hard to get the most versitile set up.. but it can be done, a lot of people who make their own skins do this so they can swich out their bindings quickly..

and if you dont like spending the money do it your self it isnt that hard..
 
it's already been done, a lot of raceskis come with fixed bindingplates, and recently marker and K2 have put their heads together and integrated the marker jester schizo with the K2 obsethed...
 
I don't know why companies don't do this already, i mean i bet theres a reason that im unaware of, but anyway...

oh man i would change so much. a new type of standerd government issued weapon that shoots 7.62 and not POS 5.56. new vehicles that can wistand IED's, and better technology in areoplane avianoics that would reduce airline crashes, and maybe a different vehicle airbag deployment system so upon deployment, it would injure less. the list could go on..
 
transporter belt that can zap me to any location at any time.

or a device that controls the weather and can create epic blizzards.

or a transmorgifier (see: Calvin & Hobbes).

 
a pager key chain, with a wall station that the keys hook on to, that way when you loose your keys a beeper thing goes off,
 
I hope it hasn't been said, because I have been thinking about this for a couple years and thought of it on my own. A computer that has no mouse, still has a keyboard, but has a touch screen. It would make things soooo much easier. I think its a cool idea.
 
finally i was starting to think NS was dumb, teleportation = everything you would ever need ever. also i want to live forever potion... game over
 
I have always thought out that. Like there were teleportation pads that you could just ski right into and it would teleport you to the top of the mountain. WITHOUT THE LINES!!!!!! it would be so sick.
 
i thought of this when i was little kid. i wanna create something at allows me to create floating art....like painting air? i have no idea how/ if this would ever work i just think itd be cool
 
i know right, mine broke 2 times in a week because they ejected switch. But i always thought attachable mini flood lights on your gogs for those night sessions would be sick, maybe just me but sounds sick
 
Magnetic poles so you can just stick them to the side of the chair lift and not have to hold them on the way up. That'd be sweeeet.

I would probably invent like an all in one device with features such as:

Teleporter

Invisibility

Invincibility

Super Skills

Money Maker (not really needed with teleporter and invisibility but oh well)

Convincer (can convince anybody to do anything :)

 
Every skier wishes hey could teleport, saves time getting to the hill and would allow me to travel 876km to the mountains in a second.
 
theyre trying to find a happy median with the remmington 6.7, and they have a vehicle that takes ieds very well now but I fogtot that its called. I like where your head is at with the bigger ammunition.
 
Im no chemist.. but if I was I would market a non-toxic chemical additive to alcohol which I would lobby the FDA to make mandatory for all liquor companies to add to their products.

Said chemical would be in the liquor and would change color when any kind of Roofie was added so it would be instantly recognizable if the drink has been drugged. Im talking like a mud-brown or black color, something universally recognizable and not a color drinks usually are.
