If i make honor roll once next year i get a new escalade!!!

i disagree. my family is well off, but my parents did not spoil me with escalades, unlimited credit cards, new skis every year, etc. We have a pretty nice house, but my parents still make me get a job every summer, pay for most of my stuff, and encourage me to find the best prices on things. Just because you are well off doesn't mean that you can't know the value of a dollar. Persaonlly, I think it is one of the more important values that is constantly lost in middle and upperclass america, partially because of shows like my supersweet 16 and all that shit
 
word man, glad to hear someone else has a prespective worth hearing, i would like to offer my kid a half assed version of what he wants for good grades but i will make him learn for himself if he wants whatever whip it is, he needs to know its out of his league and that he has to work his ass off for it and litterally rise to the challenge, not daddy hookin it up for fuckin school grades. kid you may have a cool dad or parents but you are two or three steps behind your peers in the real world because of that opportunity. Maybe not, maybe everything will be handed to you your whole life, in that case you might as well be a fuckin Hilton.

the 07 escalade is the first real escalade yet. My best friend/cousin's dad is the #1 GM dealer in the nation. He runs a Cadillac/Hummer dealership. My friend's mom has a black on black 07 with the stock 22" rims.We take it out all the time. It fuckin goes. Unreal acceleration from almost any speed and handles like a dream for an SUV that size.
 
yeah everyone is jealous that your parents are loaded and want to spoil you. if they have the money then let them, it's sweet that they are generous. if my parents could do that i would have an escalade for 6 semesters of college and every year of school from 1st - 12th grade.
