i disagree. my family is well off, but my parents did not spoil me with escalades, unlimited credit cards, new skis every year, etc. We have a pretty nice house, but my parents still make me get a job every summer, pay for most of my stuff, and encourage me to find the best prices on things. Just because you are well off doesn't mean that you can't know the value of a dollar. Persaonlly, I think it is one of the more important values that is constantly lost in middle and upperclass america, partially because of shows like my supersweet 16 and all that shit
