did i say anyone did? no. but PC companies build computers that are EXPANDABLE. show me a macbook that you can upgrade with bigger, faster, newer parts. while everyone else is out there buying the new Macs, i'm sitting here in my room ordering parts that have already outdated the "new" Macs. and i can have them in my computer in about 10 minutes. and then i can order another new part, and another, and another, every time something better comes out. and i can order it directly from the manufacturer, so it's not specially built to work with machine, it's not specially built to fit in my machine, and it's not specially built to stay in my machine. in fact, i could pull it out of my machine and out it in another machine if i wanted to.
that's how technology works. that's the opposite of how Apple works. but, Apple looks at their products, the people who buy them, and how many they sell, and they say "fuck it. none of our customers even know what an 8-core processor is. we don't need to build a computer with one." and they don't. and i don't care, because i already have one, in my PC.
