"I need fantasy football help" thread

I hear you but Washington's D is awful and Allen is the number 1 option in the passing game. I may be a little biased towards him as a Cal fan but I watched that kid play for years and he's something special. I was pretty angry when the Raiders passed on him in the 3rd round only to have San Diego take him. I think he's gonna gonna have a big night. As for Hilton he was tearing it up as a slot guy but now he's got more attention on him as the No. 2 because somehow people forget that DHB, even with his less than stellar hands, when he really became the number 1 guy had 1000 yards and some really nice touchdowns with Palmer throwing to him in only 12 games played. We all know he's fast but his route running and his strength are really underrated and now he's got Luck throwing to him. Against a good defense like Houston's I'd play the favorable matchup of both Allen and Garcon this week and see how Hilton adjusts to playing outside against non-nickel corners

Kickers are such a gamble. Bailey is probably safer. I'd play Miller against the Bengals but neither is a very good option

^Agreed.

I have Miller in my lineup as of right now, but I really want to play my boy Stacy after his last two solid weeks. Only problem is, if I sit Miller who plays tonight, and then Stacy sits with his ankle problem I'm pretty screwed.

Damn Thursday night games.

I dont do fantasy footballl but last night I had two friends over, both in my room sitting on my bed chillin. My one friend, reaches over, lays his hand on friend two and goes

"Hey, will you help me with my fantasy later?"

He was being 100% serious, but out of context it was the gayest fucking thing I have ever heard

I died laughing

No I don't. But last week there was no one in the wire beside shorts who I thought could get me 7-10. I already hadblackmon. This week it was between stills and heyward bay. I think I'm playing stills and dropping him next week for bay cuz idk about playing bay against Houston. I like him now that Wayne is out tho

idk if its going to happen or not but all the local talk has been about getting him more touches, he's had a great attitude and made some huge blocks and was a really effective decoy last game. we just haven't had to depend on him yet. plus theres no way we put another 200 touches on Charles before a likely playoff appearance. we're also about to start playing some teams that are going to force us to air it out.

Jordan Cameron and McFadden fucked me this week and the guy I'm playing having Andre Johnson sigh... Well at least I am still in 1st place in this league. 2 losses in a row scares me though.

Trading a receiver for a running back, don't know who to get rid of for the life of me.

Wes Welker

Demarius Thomas

Eric Decker

Keenan Allen

Who should I get rid of?

You guys think Manningham is worth a pickup? I'm looking for another possible WR2/Flex to go with Wes Welker and Josh Gordon and lots of reports have Manningham coming back in the game this week. Manningham was one of SF's main receivers last year.

Also need some gooed D/ST's to replace the Chiefs and Pats who both have bye's next week

don't think you need 3 Denver WR's, so I would get rid of one of them. Depends on who your trading for though.

manningham isnt a great option this weekend, and i dont really like him going forward. his season high last year was something like 70 yards. and the panthers d is not to be messed with. plus crabtree is practicing again and will probably play by the end of the month.

dolphins d is a solid pick up or cards.

my question harry douglas or cecil shorts at wr2? iv got d.woodhead at flex non ppr.

Shorts all day. Atlanta has been a mess, and if Roddy sits again Douglas is going to have Sherman all over him.

Need some help. I have Julius Thomas. Someone wants to trade me Jordan Cameron and Steve Johnson for him. An adde bonus would be it would piss off another kid in my league who really wanted Thomas.

Or would it be a better trade to get Cameron and Darren Sproles(I really need a RB)

This is my situation.

QBs:

-Keenum

-Cutler

-Rodgers (fuck you Bears... I was done by 20 with Boykin and Rodgers left with Crosby and you fuckers RUIN IT FOR ME!)

WRs:

-Andre Johnson

-Terrance Williams

-Denarius Moore

-Jarrett Boykin

-Steve Smith

-Riley Cooper

-Percy Harvin (out so non issue here)

RBs:

-Danny Woodhead

-Alfred Morris

-Mike James

RB I am set for this week. Woodhead has been a fucking God for me since it's a PPR league. My issue though is my WRs... I am thinking Andre Johnson since Keenum is willing to throw past 10 yards and Terrance Williams since Tony Romo is finally starting to play like he should. The third spot is my issue.

Oh yeah, I have the Gonz for my TE.

Matt Stafford vs. Bears or Russel Wilson vs. Falcons

Reggie Bush vs. Bears or Cj Spiller vs. Steelers or Danny Woodhead vs. Broncos (Pick two)

Cardinals D/St vs. Texans or Seahawks D/ST vs. Falcons

Is it a PPR league? If it is here are my choices:

Russel Wilson. The Falcons are in full implosion mode and their defenses is one of the worst right now. Wilson should be able to rip that defense to pieces.

The second one is more difficult. First of all... Reggie Bush is doing a lot for the Lions right now but it is the Bears so it's a divisional matchup... they'll be playing harder. Woodhead on the other hand is a receiving back that has been Rivers' life jacket all season. I pick Woodhead. The guy has had near 100 combined yards in just about every game since about week 4 and gets the goal line looks because his hands are like a WR's.

As per defensively... I choose the Seahawks again. Cards are doing damn good but Case Keenum shows that he is ready for the big time and has Andre Johnson. Andre may be old but he can still BURN people as we saw last week.

i would do it for cameron and sproles possibly, but not cameron and johnson, johnson is having a bad year and you could probably pick up someone with a decent matchup each week that could match his production, sproles isnt that great either but if you need an rb its definitely better than stevie johnson

I need to fill my flex spot, possible candidates are benjarvus greenellis, Andre Ellington, emmanual sanders, Marvin jones or Darius heyward bey. Go.

DHB is useless and can't be relied on.

BJE is kinda the same and Gio Bernard should be playing on Sunday.

I would go Marvin Jones.

do you need a lot of upside? if so id go ellington cuz honestly he should have the starting job by now and mendenhall should be brought in for the short carries bruiser work. i think you will see a pretty good split of carries tho so he could easily go for 70 yards at least.

I'm going with sanders he's on pace for 1,000 yard season has 11 targets each in last two games. And the bills are 31st vs receivers. Ellington is not starting but he should see plenty of platoon duty I think sanders is more consistent.

projected to get 157 points this week haha. 65 point favorite. my team is hacks

Stafford

McCoy

Stacy

D. Thomas

K. Allen

Graham

Bush

Seahawks

Chi kicker.

8 man espn standard scoring

It'd be, you know, great if the Falcon stop fucking being tomato fucking cans and stopped canning it up. Gonz needs catches damnit.

Do you need a big upside? I like Allen as a solid 8 pts or more. Cooper has more upside and Wallace well I really liked him at the beginning if the season but you can't knock his speed and ability if he gets chances. Tough choice

I have San Fran D, but they're playing the saints so i'm looking to pick one up

-Ravens vs Bears

-Texans vs Raiders

-Browns vs Bengals (haven't been so hot lately)

-Bills vs Jets

-Colts vs Titans

Those are basically the only decent options left and I keep going back and forth

I just need points. I'm thinking cooper cause looking at the stats, he's got 15+ every time Foles is QB and the redskins are ranked pretty low against the pass.

I vote Cooper. It's obvious him and Foles could probably throw and catch with each other just about blindfolded at this point and they are playing against that GOD awful Washington secondary.

I need QB help. I have Aaron Rodgers stashed on my bench still and now Cutler is out. I guy that has "given up" in my league is trading me Brees and Lacy for Cutler... I doubt the commissioner let's this fly.

SO, I am looking to the waiver wire and am targeting Case Keenum. He has a favorable matchup against Oakland and appears to know how to throw a deep ball.

However, I need some help for my WRs right now. These are the guys I have:

-Riley Cooper

-Andre Johnson

-Percy Harvin

-Steve Smith

-Jarrett Boykin

-Denarius Moore

-Randall Cobb (out)

-Terrance Williams (BYE)

I'm currently starting the first 4 with Woodhead and Alf Morris as my RBs. Tony Gonzalez is my TE. Any suggestions?

Team looks good. The first two are obviously solid. As for Harvin and Smith, I haven't watched them as much this year, I would go by matchup. Who ever has the more favorable one start.

And Keenum is a solid pickup. I think he's gonna be the future of the Texans. I watched him in college because he was a rival for my school and he was a great player there. He was able to bring Houston to rank 15 at one point his senior year. He is also very attractive for you because you have Andre Johnson. Double points.

Carolina hasn't given up a touchdown to a WR since the second week, Steve Smith is well past his prime and hasn't done much this year, and Williams has been getting less touches lately.... idk it's pretty much a wash. I would personally try and pick someone up off waivers over those three for this week.
