"I need fantasy football help" thread

Agreed, and there's a reason I've always started Peyton and (with the obvious exception of the bye) always will. Aaaand I'm now 6-0, woop!

receive Knowshawn and give up Gronk? what do you guys think? i've held onto gronk for this long im not sure that im ready to give him away and also trying to avoid a bad trade

Either get a guy having a career year on the nfls best team so far or a guy played by injuries who ha yet to even play this year? Lol what? I mean you have to be doing ok at te right now there is some decent te depth out there. Moreno is gonna get the ball put in his hands at least 10-15 times a game while gronk will get targeted what 10 times or so and even then he has to catch it. Moreno gets more touches therefore has more chances to score points. That's how I would do it

Which would be bad if the majority of the remaining schedule had good defenses but they don't. And I already have Doug Martin, Gio Bernard, and Zac Stacy. You could do much worse than McFadden vs. the Eagles D as a flex option

i have reggie bush and doug martin starting. with injured steven jackson on the bench. i dont know if i should try and trade jackson while he is hurt or wait? im set with receivers (v, jackson, blackmon, fitz, and wallace) what rb do you think i could get for Steven when he is still hurt?

Iv or Steven on the bench and I could see him returning this week and since they don't have many options on offense he will get a lot of work. I'm holding on to him

I think I'd do that. You'd get a major upgrade in RB as long as Knowshon stays healthy, and Clay is a top 10 TE so he's startable every week.

I have Jackson as well in one of my leagues but based on what I have been reading he hasn't returned to practice so this week seems unlikely. This leaves me with starting Ryan Matthews or Brandon Jacobs as my RB2 since Beast Mode (Lynch) is holding down my top spot. What do you guys think? I love Matthews potential but it seems like the chargers hate him and woodhead always can snake some touchdowns, and there is zero chance Jacobs has a repeat performance of last week.

Seriously I would though. Dude had over 1300 yards with Peyton throwing to him as a 3rd string slot. Now he's got Brady and he will not be the third option in that passing game

I literally have no idea what I'm doing with fantasy, I just got into it because my friends were doing it. I don't care how well I do as long as I am not last, because the person in last has to hook up with a fat chick. My current problem is that I am 1-5, tied for last, so if anyone is willing to give advice it would be much appreciated.

Here is my current roster:

Starters-

Matt Ryan

CJ Spiller

Knowshon Moreno

Reggie Wayne

Steve Smith

Jason Witten

Alfred Morris

Ravens D/ST

Alex Henrey

Bench-

Larry Fitzgerald

Gio Bernard

Brian Hartline

Terrance Williams

Alex Smith

Willis McGahee

L Hankerson

So far this year my main issue has been not really having a consistent running game, or wide receivers for that matter. Any ideas?

my defense is playing the seahawks and i got marshawn on my team. would it make sense to pick up a different defense?

That's what I do. It depends on how much faith you have in Zona getting turnovers and maybe Peterson running one back to make up for Marshawn hopefully scoring touchdowns

ya sweet cheers mate. managed to pick up the dolphins sb nation has them ranked top 10 for this week so hopefully it works out

That's tough, Carolina's run D has been pretty good this year, but you know Stacy is going to get at least 10 - 15 touches. Buff's secondary is awful, but I can never feel confident in playing Dolphin's players because their production seems to be so random. I'd probably go with Stacy for the sure 6 - 12 points, but I think Hartline has more upside.

I'd play Gio over CJ and consider Hartline over Smith. Other than that your lineup looks solid.

Also, Hankerson is worthless. Drop him and add someone that is producing. Try to add Jeffery/Allen/Blackmon if they are available.

Well, damn. That's a good problem to have. Personally, I'd go with Cameron, the Browns are going to have to throw against the Pack. After their bye weeks you should trade one for an upgrade at another spot. No need to have 2 top 5 TEs if you can only play one.

What receivers to start this week? I have

Mike Wallace vs Buffalo (off a buy week)

T.Y. Hilton vs Denver

Pierre Garcon vs Chicago

Terrance Williams vs Philly

Keenan Allen vs Jax

Someone proposed a trade to me. I give rg3 and get Joquie bell. Iv got bush on my team so it could be good insurance. My other qb is stafford

urgent fantasy advice, fitzgerald or richardson. fitzgerald hasnt been playing the best lately and playing the seahawks defense so i am thinknig richardson but he hasnt been the greatest lately either. rich is playing denver

do i start harry douglas over chris johnson or danny woodhead? woodhead is currently my rb2 and johnson is at flex.

Depends on what you think you'll need. Woodhead is safer, hes a higher floor/lower ceiling guy...he'll get you 6-8 points for sure but not much more. If you think you're going to need a big flex week go Douglas, he could get you 13-16 but don't be surprised if he only gets you 3.

This trade was proposed to me today:

trade: Larry Fitzgerald and Darren McFadden

for: Dez Bryant and Stevan Ridley

Thoughts? Bryant's been a stalwart this season, but Ridley's shat the bed pretty consistently and I'd be fine with shipping him out.

I like that trade. Both the Cardinals and Raiders upcoming schedules benefit them while anyone who plays for the Pats is fantasy poison and Miles Austin is should be 100% this week so Dez's number could drop a little

You give excellent feedback.
