"I need fantasy football help" thread

Well I'm a big fan of Blount and always have been. I was really pissed when Tampa was shopping him for a 7th round pick and the Raiders didn't get him last year. However, while I love Blount they are playing Cinci who has a pretty good defense and you have to wonder each week about how many touches a running back is going to get when Tom Brady is the quarterback

I hear that, Bengals run D is pretty solid. Although, I think their rank of 14 may be a bit skewed from holding the Steelers, whose run game was terrible, to 4 points on the ground in week 2. The other 3 weeks they've given up OK numbers.

Right now I have TY Hilton in my flex, considering playing Blount if Ridley sits.

Damn, that's no bueno, I wish that would have happened to the guy I am playing this week. Unfortunately, I was not so lucky.

eh, i try to stay away from certain teams for RB's. New England being one of them. Maybe Bill will give Ridley the rock, maybe Blount, maybe Vereen will see more carries, or maybe Brady will just throw all game. I know ridley will have some good games, but historically the pats are hard to figure out. Same goes with Carolina, the Saints outside of Sproles, and even the Bills. They arent all full time shares, but they all love to be a bit random with the carries.

Vereen is on IR and if Ridley is out Blount gets the carries. Now how many carries he's going to get is the question

Hm didnt know vereen was IR. But with th pats, you just don't know. Also why i stay away from Ray Rice. He has the talent, but Baltimore is so random with his carries, its hard to deal with. Foster and Gore are pretty consistent overall.

yes. This is wilson's big chance to break a few really long gaines. And if he gets in rhythm, we might not even see jacobs get any touches outside of a few breaks for Wilson.

Yeah i flow defenses too. I have the Rams against jacksonville this week. Also have hartline, jared cook, Russell wilson, Giovanni Bernard, and some other good players for the byes

Goddamn fuck Drew Brees. Throw the ball to someone who isn't Jimmy Graham. I am trading Colston and Boldin for sure

I got a trade pending. The guy in my league who sucks has such a weak roster and is a Niner fan. I'm throwing him Boldin and McGahee for Nelson and Reece. Really I just want Nelson.

I'll try and trade Colston for Steve Smith because a guy in my league leaves smith on the bench for Nicks, Cruz, Johnson.

If I can get my lineup to be Nelson, DeSean (who went big today), and Steve Smith I will be very happy

Nice moves, by the way, good call on DeSean, looked great today. Vick was on his way to a great game before he got hurt, which hurt me big time, that's the risk you take with Vick though I guess.

Also, everyone should grab Blackmon off waivers if he's still available. Looked really good today, I'm stoked I drafted and stashed him.

Well I needed it. I have 65 points right now and 55 of them are from 3 players while 3 other players combined for the remaining 10

man thats bullshit i switched in rueben randle for calvin johnson this morning and apparently it didnt work or something fuck that....

Somehow facing Romo and having Colston, Finley, and Bernard go for a combined 10 points I'm still in this. I'm down by 26 with Streater and Matt Ryan still left to play

Nice, that certainly helps, good luck. I'm down 11 with Kellen Winslow going against Matt Bryant, .5 PPR, not feeling great about it.

It stands for point per reception, basically anytime a player catches a pass, they get a point. So if your wr goes for 10 receptions for 100 and a TD, you'd get 26 points, instead of 16. We play half a point, so you'd get 21. It gives receivers a little bit more value since they don't get nearly as many receptions as your average rb gets carries.

Fuck yeah. Just pulled off an awesome trade. Traded Boldin and McGahee for Jordy Nelson and Marcel Reece. I'm gonna cut Reece and pick up Mike Williams. I don't need any more running backs I already got F Jax, Gio, Zac Stacy and Doug Martin.

Now if only I can unload Marques Colston for Steve Smith

Williams would be a bench guy for me for now but I like Glennon and I think given a couple weeks he'll get it going

so iv got d bowe and dont know what to do with him. im thinking of picking up someone of the wire, out of these who would you take: cecil shorts, justin blackmon, austin pettis, tedd gin, terrance williams? terrance williams and tedd gin both have favorable matchups but idk. im not dropping bowe but i may bench him this week. fuck this

Blackmon or Shorts, they both have a great match up this week too. Dallas just put up over 500 yards through the air on Denver. It's really a toss up each week which one will have the bigger numbers, but Jacksonville's defense and running game are non existent, so they are going to be throwing it a lot and those 2 are really their only receiving options. Personally, I'd take Blackmon, seems to be a better all around wide out to me and he has something like 750 yards and 5 touchdowns in his last 8 games.
