Sometimes you need help. This is the place.

I start things off. Fred Jackson vs nyj or frank gore vs Ind for the flex

Go with Frank Gore, with the rest of their season it looks good for san fran. Also, if you can pick up a shitload of free agents do it. Its those sleepers that will win it for ya.

Do I play regie bush? The upside is huge but I think I just have to wait to see how his knee holds up this week. I have Chris Johnson and Daryl Richardson. My two top rbs are hurt for a few weeks. Steven Jackson and bush. Although who knows how long bush will be out.

If Bush plays they're gonna give him a light workload. I heard last night that they really like his back up and they've been giving him a lot of time even when Bush wasn't hurt.

ya bell is a solid player in both rushing and catching. thats what i was worried about. bell had a 20pt game in week 1, while bush went for 25. bell got both tds too. so bell could be in a for a huge game if bush doesnt play. my opponent has bell and i have bush-__- shoulda picked bell up too...

Quality thread idea.

I listen to the ESPN fantasy focus football podcast every day and it's super helpful. And pretty entertaining. It's Matthew Berry Nate Ravitz and Staphania Bell (for injury info)

2-0 so far this year looking for back to back season wins what what

Matthew Berry fucked me over week one. Play Sudfeld, he's Brady's new 6'7" target. Top four tight end. So I bench Boldin at the flex, play Sudfeld. Sudfeld doesn't catch a pass and Boldin goes for 26 points. I lost by 8 points

They're gonna win and Jackson has been solid but the Bills don't put up much points and the Jets D is pretty good. If there's more than 30 total points in this game I'll be shocked. I have Jackson on my team and I benched him this week

Should i start Brady or Rg3 this week. Brady has been shitting the bed this year so far, but i think he is due for a dece game soon. RG3 has been alright this year but nothing special. Who to start?

Brady is going against Tampa who has a pretty solid defense and RG3 is going against Detroit whose secondary really bad. It's a tough choice but I think RG3 has a better chance of lighting things up

Here's my question. My starting receivers are Desean Jackson and Marques Colston with Boldin in the flex.I have Eddy Royal on the bench. The only receiver who has scored more points this season than Royal is Jackson. Royal has 5 touchdowns on 10 catches. I don't trust Rivers or Royal to keep this pace up but I would like to cash in on it before he slows down. Do I bench Boldin or Colston in favor of Royal?

That's tough. I always side on that of consistency and proven scoring. But it always seems to burn me. Idk what id do hah

I think that the jets are gonna fold, their defense is ok not up to par, and the bills offense is better than the jets ,Jackson is gonna surprise a lot of owners and have a good game,

Based on what? You're recommending playing a running back that gets 40%, at most, of the carries playing on the road against the 4th best run defense vs a lone starting back playing at home against the 16th ranked run defense.

Gore is clearly the best option here.

My receivers are Welker, Colston, Boldin, Julian Edelman (Pats No. 1 receiver right now), Eddie Royal, and Hakeem Nicks. Which three of these six should I start in a PPR league with no flex position this week? I'm thinking Welker against Oakland is a great matchup, and Edelman will do great as Brady's only trusted receiver this week, particularly considering how the Pats' rookie wideouts shit the bed last week. Also, Kenbrell Thompkins will most likely draw coverage from Revis on the outside. And then I'm deciding between Colston, Boldin, or Royal. It's doubtful that Royal will keep up his current pace, but he's a talented player and appears to be one of Philip Rivers' favorite targets so far, particularly considering Malcom Floyd's concussion. Boldin is also a solid play against Indy, but he REALLY screwed me over last week. Colston is usually as reliable as they come, but doesn't have too many big games like Boldin or Royal could. Should I take the gamble on Royal or sell him high? What do you guys think?

All 3 or those 3rd receiver options are good. I'd rank them Boldin -going against a weak D at home and coming off a huge loss, definitely want to make a statement in this game, Nicks at Carolina, solid run defense that's not as good against the pass and NY's backfield is a mess, they're going to pass and Cruz gets most of the attention, then Colston whose a solid start week in and week out but Brees has a lot of weapons in that offense.

I'm not sold on Royal, he's put up huge numbers but half of his receptions have been TDs. No way he keeps that pace up.

Here's my issue with, as I'm dealing with the same thing. Who do I play between these two. I was gonna play Colston over Royal until NFL Network just said sit Tennessee's D, play Rivers, and play the Saints kicker. That scares me because I can totally see the Saints getting into field goal and stalling against Zona's secondary. Colston burned me last week with only 3 points until his last second catch which doubled his points to 6 while Royal had 27 on my bench.

I have no idea what to do. Right now Colston is starting but if I keep seeing shit about Royal I'm going to switch it out. Someone give me opinions

just gota say fuck d bowe. 1 catch for 4 yards? seriously? he is my number 1 reciever and he has put up a total of less than 20 pts

brees is going up against the cardinals. he's going to shit fire on them. pick up jimmy graham as a tight end if you can, he's been killing it.

id say morris. detroits d is horrid. ravens d hasnt been its usual self and probalby wont ever be but old habits die hard for me. they did allow somewhat solid game to denver and there back is nowhere near as good as foster.

How are you stacking up against your opponent this week? The way I try to look at decisions like these is if you're feeling confident going into the weekend that you have good match ups and should win go with the proven guy (Colston). If you've got some tough match ups and don't feel great about it go with the high upside (Royal). I also like to play guys who are playing at home. The saints always play better in their dome.

Well so far it's good. He started Bowe and I started DeSean so I have an early lead on him. I feel good about what he's got out except for 3 players. He's got Demaryius, Peterson, and Seattle's D. Those are all guys capable of putting up 20+ points

I think boldin is going to continue to be a hot target, that being said i think that houstons d might be disrupting flacco this week. I would still go with benching colston for eddie royal, tried to pick royal up last week but i didn't have priority.

again, the saints are playing the fucking cardinals. Colston is on of brees favorite targets. the saints do not possess a run game to speak of, they just throw pretty much the entire fucking time.

I'd go with Colston personally. I'd be shocked if he had back to back sub-par performances. I also think defenses are going to be respecting Royal more after his first 2 games and will be paying him more attention, especially in the red zone. Although, Malcolm Floyd most likely being out this week makes the decision a little bit more tough.

ESPN currently has Colston ranked 14 and Royal at 28 this week.

Boldin plays for the niners now and is playing Indy at home. I'm guessing he does work this weekend with Vernon Davis having a hamstring issue.

Yeah but they did that last week and Colston caught 3 passes while fucking Jimmy graham had like 12 for 100 and something yards
