"I need fantasy football help" thread

If you had said that the 3rd string QB for the Browns was gonna look this good I'd call you an idiot.

Also Brees looks awful today. I don't care what the numbers say, if you're watching the game you know what I'm talking about

why i didnt start him haha. iv already lost this week. gordon has 4 less points than my whole team at this point.... fucking injuries man

What the fuck? Colston is a liability right now. Brees has thrown to him 3 times. 2 of them have been awful. I've seen Jamarcus throw the ball better than that. Colston wasn't even on the field for that last play. Fuck Drew Brees and fuck Sean Payton. I should've said fuck it and just played Cordarrelle Patterson

There's a kid in my league who has 2 players on the bench and one of them is Crabtree. I don't think he played a flex last week. It's literally like playing Taco from the league.

Also the Cleveland game is by far the most entertaining game on right now

Son of a bitch. Cinci's D puts up 20 points against the Pack and I left them on the bench. 4 sacks, 2 int, 2 fumble recoveries, and a defensive touchdown. Buffalo better rape Geno today

Sunday? also fuck yes, chicagos D is destroying i was bumming on not playing KC defense this week until chi towns D hit 23 points as well, haha fuck yes i love my team. Also monster fucking day for demarco murray!!

I'm fucked. I'm up by 11 points but he's got one guy left. Demaryius Thomas. My Raiders but shut that dude down

damn... hes gunna have a huge game.. But i thought jermichael finleys injury and AJ not catching a single catch til like the third quarter was gunna fuck me, but i murdered this fool. Who knows what'll happen, maybe welker will get all the tds..

I ended up with a pretty good week. Won for sure in 2 of my leagues, both being the scoring leader. My other I am down by 28 and have McFadden, D Thomas, and J Thomas left to go and he's done... Pretty confident in a win.

The one league I have a little money on and I'm playing friends my team absolutely shat the bed. In my dad's league an my work league I'm 3-0. Oh well next week I guess-__-

what the hell should i do with Dwayne Bowe. dude got me 0 this week and only has 14 total. think he's worth hanging on to?

i have Antoin Boldin and Demarius Thomas in my WR spots, then Antonio Gates or Reggie Bush as my Flex options.

it might be worthwhile to pick up Deandre Hopkins and drop Bow, i just dont know enough about Bowe to make the call.

I also have Aldrick Robinson stashed on the bench just in case he comes through.

Im also storing the Rams D, maybe i ought to drop them since i have Seahawks as my starter, and their bye isnt until week 12.

hmm.

I dunno. I'm considering benching Boldin because of how bad Kaepernick has looked recently but Bowe is non-existant. That's a tough spot

Utter domination this week, and the past two as well. Next week Green bay has a bye, so i wont be playing jordy nelson. Need to either pick up someone off the waiver for a WR or Maybe go with vincent brown or rueben randle.. Whats a good call? i could probably get by with out a ton off points out of the replacement this next week but obviously i want as much as possible

If you're feeling daring try Cordarrelle Patterson. He doesn't have any points but that's because they don't use him much. He's been getting more snaps and the coach keeps promising more. The kid's explosive. He had 50 yards on 2 catches last week, and a kickoff return for a touchdown 2 weeks ago. They're playing the Steelers so that might not be ideal but the Steelers don't look great. I might play him over Boldin this week depending on the news out of Minnesota

i might try that, i dont really feel i have all that much to lose unless the dude im facing has an unreal game and Megatron and AJ green have awful games. I feel patterson is going to keep getting more snaps and if simpson keeps it up he might become the wr1 pretty soon. What do you think, Mike Vick vs Denver or Matt Ryan vs New england? Im pretty torn on this one.. Also, Demarco Murray or Knowshawn Moreno or Marice Jones Drew? leaning towards murray and MJD seeing as MJD had a solid week sitting on my bench as long as he is going to play this coming week which it seems like he will. MJD posted good points against the Seahawks D but seeing as the colts defense looked near impenetrable this past week idk..

I just looked at my opponent next week and I'm definitely playing Patterson over Boldin. I'm playing Matt Ryan but my options aren't as good as Vick. I'd go Murray playing against the Chargers D but I dunno about the other two. Knowshawn going against a week D but he is in a committee and MJD going against a better D but the Colts don't look good against the run. I'd go with MJD. That would be my gut

I'm playing Patterson. A lot of his touches are going to be manufactured so he will get the ball regardless of how the D plays but it's up to his talent to make something of it. I'm not feeling Woods against the Ravens D after they shut the Texans down last week

Arian Foster for Giovanni Bernard and Steven Jackson

Should I accept this trade? I will be the one receiving Bernard and Jackson and trading away Foster.

What do you guys think?

I have Gio and I love this kid. He's explosive in the run game and the pass game. Last week he had 50 rushing and 50 receiving and a TD. It would depend on who your other running back is or would you be starting Gio and Jackson?

I also have Joique Bell and Alfred Morris. I would probably start either Morris and Bell or Gio and Bell. And I have DeAngelo Williams as a last resort backup.

If you're feeling confident in these young guys to continue what they've done for the first 3 weeks I'd say go for it

Also, it's a 2-for-1 trade that my friend is using for the express purpose of opening a roster spot for a QB without dropping players to free agency for the competition to snag. I'll have room though, I was gonna drop the Minnesota Defense anyway, they were just a one week play because of the Browns (didn't really work out, thanks Hoyer). Recently acquired the Bears Defense in another trade, so I'm all good on that front.

My running backs would go from: Foster, Morris, Bell, Williams.

To: Morris, Bell, Bernard, SJax, Williams.

I think it's a pretty solid trade, it doesn't make his team overpowering, nor does it make my team suffer because I had Foster benched anyway, whereas I will most likely play Bernard at some point, and possibly Jackson when he comes back as well.

Aside from these positives, the only concern I have is trading Foster (who was my 1st pick and the 3rd overall pick in the draft) for a rookie in a timeshare and a 30 year-old power-runner who is out until week 7. Foster has been sucking it up, and Ben Tate is really eating into his carries, but he could turn it around and become great again.

I'm starting A.J. Green and Antonio Brown, but I need help for the 3rd WR slot.

I'll definitely play Amendola if he plays, but they haven't confirmed anything yet, just saying he "could" or "might" play. I don't think he will, and even if he does, it will be a gametime decision. Business as usual in NE...

Then after that, I have to choose between DeAndre Hopkins (facing Seattle, pretty much an automatic sit), Greg Jennings (facing Ike Taylor who shut down A.J. Green in Week 2), or Donnie Avery (high-upside but his performance on Thursday night was almost definitely a fluke).

Or I could grab Santonio Holmes, Stephen Hill, Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin, Austin Pettis, Robert Woods, Nate Washington, or Santana Moss off of free agency.

What say you, NS?

I'd go with Rivers, they're both facing tough defenses and the Chargers are more likely to air it out than the 'Hawks who are still mostly a run-first offense. Take Wilson's performance last weekend with a grain of salt, it was against the lowly Jags, and two of his TD passes went to barely-utilized Zach Miller in short yardage situations during garbage time. He won't have that luxury against the Texans.

I agree with that but the Dallas D looked pretty good last week and the Texans D did not so I'd take that into consideration

I need some opinions on this trade offer:

I send Arian Foster and Eddie Royal

I receive Giovanni Bernard, Steven Jackson, and MJD.

my wrs have been failing me. i somehow have snuck a win and only lost by 5 and 8 points. i have torrey smith, bowe, tavon austin, deAndre hopkins, and santonio holmes. or drop holmes or austin for brian hartline, who has been pretty consistent. im thinking of starting smith and bowe or holmes. whatcha think?

I'd play Smith for sure, I think Bowe is finally gonna do something this week against the Giants, and I don't think you could go wrong with Holmes or Hartline

I think that is a really good trade for you.

1. Foster is going to be a nagging injury all year I think. He was on my do not draft list unless he fell to the second round.

2. Royal isn't going to score 20 TD's this year, his numbers cannot stay that high.

3. I am huge on Bernard, he is going to see increased carries and catches as the year goes on.

4. MJD is MJD, he's on a bad team that isn't going to do much this year.

5. If he can stay healthy, Jackson should have a good year in Atlanta.

If I remember correctly, you can only start 2 RBs and no flex, right?

If that's the case, I'd pass. There's no point in rostering all of those RBs if you can't play them all. Foster has started slow, but he's still a stud. I like Gio a lot, but they're still using BJGE half the time, on the goal line, and in garbage time to close games. Jackson's OK, he's getting older though and the reports are saying he is probably going to be out longer than expected.

Maybe if it was Foster for Gio and a solid wide out that you could use regularly it would make more sense to me.
