I need bindings

I need a new pair of park bindings for my liberty limited team edition 2012. They are 157 centimeters long and 7.5 centimeters wide in the middle. Im 5'7" 140 pounds, advanced skier, i do jumps and rails mostly. they should be fairly light. The 'look pivot 14 ski bindings 2014" seem like a good bet but id like some input before I buy. please include a price range.

The pivot/fks is going to actually going to be on the heavier side of binding for you on the market. If you are a adult who isnt growing anymore the fks is going to be more binding than what you need. If you are growing you will grow into the pivots/fks.

Best binding for the now for you tyrolia attack 13. Cheap, light, durable.

Investment on a binding pivot/fks 14.

Yeah attack is a great choice. And if you do go pivot or fks go for the pivots. But I would go attacks. And for your size go attack 13s

Well I know it's same binding but some people said their looks held up a tad better than the rossis

Some people said?

Just to confirm, you have no personal experience that backs up your statement that Looks "held up better"?

If you really want to be helpful in Gear Talk then post suggestions that you can actually back up. If your only experiences with the two bindings mentioned are that you like one color (Looks) over the other (Rossi) then just say so, but when you make bullshit assumptions like you did, you are not helping anyone.

Gear Talk needs reviews and suggestions by people who actually have experience with the products. This shit is getting old...

Okay I'm not bullshitting anything. I actually like the color of fks more. And sorry not "some" but multiple people at various shops have said this when I ask them about the pivot/fks. Your right, I haven't been on em, but I'm just relaying good info for shops and people who do spend time on them.

Good info huh? We must have vastly different definitions of the word "good". And yes, I have owned, and do currently own both the Look Pivots and Rossi FKS's.

Besides the colors, the FKS and Pivots are the same thing; that is if you are comparing the 14 din FKS to the 14 din Pivot. Pick the one that looks best and go from there if you're wanting a turntable binding.

For the OP, the Pivot 14/FKS 14 could definitely be a good binding for you. But it's not the only choice. If you are still growing then I would probably lean away from the Pivot/FKS bindings as they are not as adjustable when it comes to growing feet. The Pivot/FKS bindings can move up to 10mm total. So depending on where they were setup when mounted, you could theoretically move 5mm forward and 5mm backwards. If your new boot is larger than 5-10mm, more than likely you will need to remount your bindings.

Salomon/Attack/Marker bindings can be adjusted in a much wider range, and much easier than the Pivot/FKS bindings; typically not requiring a remount.

Another main "issue" with the Pivot/FKS bindings is they do not have easily swappable brakes. The Salomon STH, Attack, or Marker Royal family bindings would be much more user friendly in that regard.

If budget is a concern, the Pivot/FKS bindings will also generally be a little more expensive than the other options I have mentioned above.

if you want pivots, then get rossi fks 120s. For your size they are perfect. but like others said, the attacks are also good bindings, but get the fks 120 if you want turnable bindings.
