Your right, I haven't been on em, but I'm just relaying good info for shops and people who do spend time on them.
Good info huh? We must have vastly different definitions of the word "good". And yes, I have owned, and do currently own both the Look Pivots and Rossi FKS's.
Besides the colors, the FKS and Pivots are the same thing; that is if you are comparing the 14 din FKS to the 14 din Pivot. Pick the one that looks best and go from there if you're wanting a turntable binding.
For the OP, the Pivot 14/FKS 14 could definitely be a good binding for you. But it's not the only choice. If you are still growing then I would probably lean away from the Pivot/FKS bindings as they are not as adjustable when it comes to growing feet. The Pivot/FKS bindings can move up to 10mm total. So depending on where they were setup when mounted, you could theoretically move 5mm forward and 5mm backwards. If your new boot is larger than 5-10mm, more than likely you will need to remount your bindings.
Salomon/Attack/Marker bindings can be adjusted in a much wider range, and much easier than the Pivot/FKS bindings; typically not requiring a remount.
Another main "issue" with the Pivot/FKS bindings is they do not have easily swappable brakes. The Salomon STH, Attack, or Marker Royal family bindings would be much more user friendly in that regard.
If budget is a concern, the Pivot/FKS bindings will also generally be a little more expensive than the other options I have mentioned above.
