First of all yes I know there is another thread on this, I even posed in it. But I'm looking for a tough badass watch. All the watches in the other thread are all fancy watches that do everything but wipe your ass. I'm going into the Air Force in February and I want a good watch that

1. Has both military time, and regular 12 hour on it.

2. Has to be analog.

3. Has to be able to take a good beating and still work.

I have no idea on what to look for when it comes to watches because I know nothing about them, or any companies that are in the game other than Rolex.

inb4 stupid ridiculous looking watches that are unrelated to what I asked for.
 
what is your price range? there are some pretty slick watches out there, but they can get pretty pricey. even the simpler ones you seem to be looking for. also, is this something you want or does the air force dictateb what kind of style you can get?

^unfortunately you don't get style points from Nike in the watch department.
go with a brand that makes watches and nothing else, or at the very least, watches primarily. you will get far better quality, durability, and style, if watchmaking is their focus.
for bargains, chronoshark.com is pretty legit and probably in your price range, guessing you want to stay in the three figure range?
 
so wait you need something that's analog with military time and regular time? not possible. unless it's an ani-digi. in which case you could go for a g-shock which are pretty much indestructable but if you want something a little classier that can still take a beating check out the nixon insider, any of the nixon super hero line, a nixon spencer, or a nixon unit. my job is at a shop that specializes in watches.

i just got the oakley crankcase off oakleyvault.com. $1000 down to 200. but if you want one thats more military inspired then look at luminox.com

this right here is the definition of reliability and functionality. plus it takes up your whole wrist so whilst wearing it, people will notice you!

Look in Mens fitness, they should have the kind of watch you want in there. if you wanna go more baller than a rolex, go breitling. These make rolex look like a timex. Every military pilot and mist special forces personel are issued these type of watch.

Say this watch is St. Moritz, Switzerland. I guess it comes out to around $90,000? Chump change. By the way it's the top on top if you couldn't tell. /kinda claim?
