I need a dope watch.

You're going to be a pilot? Get a Breitling Professional. I nearly got one myself; they're automatic analogue chronometers, with digital features. So basically, you get a standard analog watch, which also has separately-powered digital displays. They're specifically marketed for aviation.

They run between 3,000-3,500 dollars, which is obviously expensive, but they last generations; this is the kind of thing you hand down to your grandchildren.

So yeah. You probably want that one.

yep. this is what i suggested. anybody who knows anything about watches would say get a breitling. rolexes are for fat italian men

Truth. I'm partial to Omega...I ended up getting a Seamaster instead of the Breitling, but this is probably more suited for OP's needs.

Rolexes are retarded. If you're going to blow that much on a watch, get some class and buy a Patek Phillipe

amall. Jiberish is still waiting on their shipment but it is expected tomorrow or friday. THen we will be working really hard around the clock this weekend to get the shipment sorted and packed up.  -Blake

That is a dope watch but I don't need all that shit on there. I'm not going to be a pilot, I'm going to be a mechanic working on the F-16 fighter jets. So just something that tells the time and is able to withstand some punishment.

So this is the watch I got only with a few minor differences. But the problem is that it has a leather strap. I'm afraid that it will wear down over time and fall apart one day. So now that I have the watch that I was looking for, my question is now this. What type of strap should I get? I kinda want a metal one, but have not heard good things about them.

Did you end up getting one? Luminox makes probably the most durable watch for the money; a few hundred dollars buys you an indestructible timepiece.

Yes.
Rolexes are for people who want to spend a ton of money on a watch that everyone recognizes as a watch that costs a ton of money. You'd be FUCKING AMAZED at the quality of the Rolex fakes that are out there right now, I know a jeweler that tells stories of $150 roley fakes from the city that are so close you can't even tell without pulling off the back and inspecting the gear teeth. I want one of those more than a real Rolex hahahahaha...
The only other watches I really like besides Breitling is a Rado, and it's because they're ceramic which is huge for me because I'm a welder and it is actually an insulator rather than a conductor, meaning I could wear it at work if I wanted to, that and they're super fkn light.
Whoever spent 100 on that green nixon watch, kill yourself.
