I miss Parkasaurus Inflatable Dinosaurs

I miss skiing having a fun and chill attitude, now its all these kids trying to be thug and hood. It's not supposed to be tough shit, its fun.
 
I miss when you did tricks likes 540, 720 and 900, people in chairlifts would cheer so loud that when u were in the air you had a rush of adrenaline and it encourage you to push further.

I miss 540 truck driver back in 2005 was the illess grab.

I miss all the pros like vincent dorion, the 3 phils, boyd easley, mike douglas, candide thovex.

I miss when park skiing was about fun and not a freaking Fashion SHOW!

I miss days in the park where anyone else in the park on twins was your instant friend no matter how much you sucked. It's sad, nowadays all I run into is prick 15 year olds who talk too much shit.

I also miss legit boned out Lui Kangs
 
i miss being a little grom up at mount hood in the summer back in like 2001-2003, watching guys like tommy ellingston (sp?) and all the other hood locals and thinking, damn i would do anything to be like those guys.

Honestly... all of you sound like whiny old people who complain about the times. It's ridiculous and counter intuitive to complain about where skiing is going because EVERYTHING changes and evolves. Look at any sport today and tell me it's the same as it used to be 20 or 10 or even 5 years ago, especially when looking into unregulated free sports such as skiing or skating. It's fine to reminisce over what once was, I too loved so many aspects of freeskiing growing up. But to the people out there who bitch about what the sport is today, you are being just as negative an influence as the aspect of the sport you are complaining about. Skiing is skiing and that is it, it's what you make of the sport, it's what YOU contribute. And if you have a problem with where skiiing's going, maybe you should get off NS, because I can guarantee you for every responsible og here there are 20 bitches.

I would like to think that the sport is generally moving in a progressive direction, and it is up for us to guide that path. So get the fuck out and ski, and if you aren't having fun then it's probably worth taking a second look at.
