I jus wanna powsurf

How easy is pow surfing? I’ve also wanted to try but there are a series of unfortunate circumstances like living on the east coast more specifically Connecticut.

i mean, have you done any other board sports? i think they're pretty easy/intuitive if you've ever boarded in one form or another

ironically you might have great use for a pow surf in a place that doesn't have huge mtns. i have (a cheaper) one and i use it more than you might think cause they glide really well so i'll use it on short/low angle soft snow when the ""terrain"" isn't nearly enough to make skiing exciting-- parks, hills in the woods, whatever around your town

100% purely for soft snow though, trying to use them on hard pack or ice is a 1 way ticket to having no control whatsoever and eating shit hard

yeah man if you surf, skate, and ski you'll be rippin it no problem. theyre mad fun, i'd def consider it. if you have any hills at all around and get soft snow at all, at least. they don't function well at all if it's hard snow or there's so little snow your edges catch on the ground as you turn

if "no" for hills being around or more than a couple inches of snow at a time, a snowskate might be better. i have both and with that pair + skis there's basically no snow situation i can't enjoy

Yea what he said!

Surfs are really fun and awesome on small hills if you live somewhere that it snows once in a while. If you get like 8” of snow on a mellow grassy hill is soooo fun. You don’t need to be sled skiing or something lavish to have a great time. My favourite place to surf is at night in this field I take my dog for walks at
