haha, how come when east coast kids go out west, whatever they do is amazing... even tho, its about normal for mammoth, tahoe, pc, breck, silverstar or anywhere else decent?
 
really? because what's quite funny is the EC kids I know who have gone out west and do 'amazing' things are also moving up the ranks and becoming pros... but I mean, I GUESS that's normal for every mountain out west...
 
west coast turd. these kids are amazing no matter where they are or from. who cares if they are from the east in the west, or from the west in the east (although this would obviously never happen... right, west coast turd) they are still sick.
 
dude dont take offense, all im saying is that you can go to most major mountains in the west with good parks, and you will see the same caliber of tricks by kids the same age. but they just dont have all of ns going crazy over their shit, because its not that crazy
 
so your saying at most mountains out west kids can grease 50 ft rails, during which they do a pole flip (a pole flip? wtf?!), and then 630 out? how about a switch 1080 over like a 20 ft table, in a nice 70s outfit? you see that every day at every mountain out west cause you guys are all so sick.
 
ive noticed the majority of the dope riders out here (west) are too busey skiing to post videos on the internet. hence not having ns all over their dicks.
 
it really blows me away that people are hating on ihateny... like, these are the nicest most deserving kids who kill it... hands down the best on rails.
 
east coast kids are good at skiing park, but if you stuck em up somewhere high up on a burley mountain out west,well, they don't have much experience doing that sort of shit do they.
 
again, gonna have to go ahead and call you out on this. I (along with 4 or 5 of my good friends) are all east coast kids and have been skiing tahoe the past two years (I still live back east but get a solid 20 days out there a year), and I can most certantly ski full mountain, and do some hiking, skis cliff bands, trees, whatever gnar gnar you 'west' people have...so again, sorry but you're dead wrong.
 
it is impossible to say anything in these _________ crew/guy/ girl/mountain is so sick just because everybody takes offense. im not saying west is better than east. im not saying east coast kids cant really ski. all im saying is that 630s off flat rails and switch 1080s arent insane tricks and probably 100 kids can do them, and 90 of them reside in the west, i just find it funny how east kids are soooo sick when they do them.
 
I also find that to be true. When east coast kids go out west, they kill it so hard because they have better "resources" to display their skills. A lot of top pros originated in the east.
 
i've been to a lot of places that you mentioned above and I hear ya on jumps, but on rails there are VERY VERY few kids who can do these tricks with the consistancy and style that ahmet and will have, I dont care where you ski mainly, the "normal" kids definitely are not as good on rails as those two.
 
Hey, thanks to everyone who support us... and to whoever doesn't... none of us really care if you hate, after all it's just more publicity.

half the kids in the mammoth edit live there. the footage of them is from about 20 runs or less, so yes they do cool stuff all day everyday, see malone's edit for more
 
yeah, ihateny kills it, so just stop hating. and im pretty suree that we have to deal with a lot more shitty skiing on the EC, but that doesnt mean we cant ski the deep and steep just as well as you west coasters
 
in the east we are used to flat landings, icy jumps, shit rails that never get taken care of....horrible conditions, people bitching at us not to ride rails.....over crouded shit hills, bearly, if anypipe at all. Now you take a kid who KILLS IT in that situation, and put him on a mountain that has thousands of dollars invested in a park where everything is perfect....what do you think is going to happen?

I go out west and i think..." Fuck these kids have perfect park, perfect conditions.....crazy everything. Why the hell aren't these kids better?" Take any west coast kid and stuff him in an east coast park.....i wonder how good he will do. More then likely he will be eating shit off of everything he hits.

and the ihateny crew is amazing.....whats to say that the kids on the west coast arnt amazing either...your basicly saying that no1 is amazing if they can do those tricks by sayin the kids from the east coast arnt amazing for doing them

yeah i agree with this. i hate ny is undoubtedly sick as shit, but there are other kids who are just as good as them. maybe not on rails but in terms of that mammoth edit im sure there are alot of kids like that
 
not just "the east". Were talking fuckin garbage hills compared to places like stowe and killington. Tha real east, the hood of the east. western new york.
 
We filmed most of it like late june, all we had to work with was 20ft jump, 3 small jibs and the pipe. No shit thr tricks arent crazy, the edit is just a fun edit.
 
yea, you can go to major moutains in the west and find sick kids, well you can go to almost anywhere in the east and find sick kids at not only large resorts but small resorts too, you have no idea what your talking about.
 
i dont think i agree with this. if you took a bunch of northstar, mammoth, aspen, keystone, breck kids and put them in an east coast park, they will still destroy. they might not be happy about it, but they will still throw the fuck down.

thing is, that would never ever happen. no west coast kid would go to the east.

that has to be one of the most ignorant things ive heard on this site and thats saying a lot. east coast kids learn to ski in some of the worst conditions, and we still charge no matter what the snow is. so whenever i take a trip out west i can rip as hard as anyone there and its easier than normal. if you think we dont have gnarly skiing here drop by and ill show you some spots that will make you shit yourself.
 
such bullshit, u could find maybe 1 or 2 west coast maybe kids like alex schlopy that arent pro that could keep up with ihateny, then think of 4bi9 and i guarantee no not pro west coaster kid is better then like wallisch
 
i dont know man there are a lot of good kids out west... go out to mammoth and breck and key. EVERYONE kills it with retarded amounts of style and amplitude...

i bet you could find a bunch of kids to keep up with ihateny and 4bi9 on jumps, but i will admit, no one kills it as hard as tom wallisch or will wesson on rails..

and when dadali sw misty 9'd that 20 footer at mammoth i was on the lift and i almost fell out it was so sick.

i hate people who think this. you couldnt be more wrong. sure, part rats on the ec may not be able to ski that well, but you could say the same of west coasters who ski nothing but park as well. i can ski better backcountry then some kids i know in co and i have lived in boston my whole life.
