Wait what?! This is an interesting development. I actually defended the guy for a bit til he went off the rails. A lot of the initial harassment towards him was unfounded but at the end it was deserved.

It seemed like the more people called him out for being weird the more he dug in about it and just made it worse. “That wasn’t pedo! I’ll show you some pedo shit!”

I’ll admit tho once someone starts saying someone is creepy it’s really easy to start seeing everything they do as creepy.

But like most favorable scenario it genuinely didn’t occur to him that people might not appreciate being internet stalked? Guy might missed a couple of HR harassment trainings in his lifetime…
 
Basically i got in trouble like 3 months ago and my dad chopped my long hair off, and I ranted about it in the rant about whatever thread, and he kept harassing me for pictures of myself and my haircut (I am a minor and have made that extremely clear and pretty much any regular on NS knows that) and a bunch of members got mad at him for asking me to send him pictures of myself and one thing leads to another and he loses his mind and freaks tf out and we got to see @safarisams ass and he gets banned. The end.

That’s a disturbing thought, not so much because I think he is going to grab someone and rape them but much more so that being in a position of influence and power requires tremendous responsibility.

As a man I’ll admit I have blind spots on things like this- we had a colleague get fired

for being inappropriate with a much younger female colleague and I was off handedly like man I really didn’t see that coming to a woman who I used to report to and now we’re in different work groups but still cool after like 10 years and she was like, ‘really? He was creepy AF!’ So come to find out my radar for creepy dudes is good but not great… Long story short if the women in the group all agree time to listen.
