all over the forum i've noticed quite a few people posting how they or some unnamed friend or cousin broke their new salomon, tm, or whatever in a week.... it seems to me that in my, although limited, exp that its the situation that will snap a ski. As in what will snap this ski will most likley break any diffrent ski. But this hearsay shooting around the web is preventing good products from getting out on the slopes.
Now i'm not saying that certain edges arnt cheaper than others or some skis don't delam more so than others but thats why warrantys exist. Most ski companies have pretty good products but quality control can never be 100%. And plz take your kit to a quality** shop, alot of head aches could be prevented if the tech had just tapped the mounting holes, or simply used the right material to fix a busted up base.
i guess thats just my two cents.....
