How to(REALLY)freestyle ski in 5 steps or less

"Most freestylers prefer a centermounted ski. This enables the skier to have a good excuse to why he sucks at skiing powder with out being labled a "park rat"."

hah

step 6. no matter how much snow has fallen, consider MT. hood for example. You must complain about global warming, at every given oppurtunity. Don't forget to hate on tricks you lack the ability to do, such as double flips and switch 14s

hahahhahahahaha damnn... thats true

THe half pipe is half of a pipe(hence the name) with snow on each side. Skiers can ski down the middle or up the sides for extra excitment.

hahahahahaha that was great

I have been standing up very straight and looking at landings in a manner that would suggest I was agressively questioning their physical toughness ever since I read this and I think I have become at least %14 more unapproachable and intimidating! Thanks R_Martin!

A+

So since we all find it funny, do we all realize now how outsiders to the sport must view freeskiing as?

haha so true... i know everyone has walked into a gas station before/after a day of skiing to snag a red bull or something and received the most awkward looks from people. hell, i'm sure we've all gotten those looks in the lift line from other skiers. meh...

on another note, symms was stoked on this and has started a list of his own in his blog...

Awesome, but you forgot an important step in learning to do rails:

If not ready to hit the rails directly, it's a good confidence builder to jump off the sides of lip before the rail and do spread eagles. This is greatly appreciated in the freestyle community.

Are you saying that global warming is shitty? Or are you demonstrating that Step 6 is unnecessary because you already have it down?
