How to lucid dream tonight!

I really don't recommend sleep paralysis to anyone if you want a harmless lucid dream. I have suffered from sleep paralysis for a while now and it is not fun. Just like OP said you feel a weight on your chest and hear noises yet you cant move. Some times the weight is a fucking demon or witch staring you in the face choking you, sometimes the voices are creepy ass whispers. A lot of the time your lying there seeing your room in vivid detail and a creature/shadow thing starts to come towards you.

If you want a lucid dream start a dream journal so you can start to pick up patterns between dreams and reality. You will start to be able to question weather your in a dream or not and be able to somewhat control them. But yea, don't try what OP said

The witch is the most common one also known as the "old hag". She will walk towards you and go under your bed, in my case, and you will feel her start to pull you under. The scariest part of these things is you feel like your wide awake but unable to move. If you do experience this the one way to get out of it is to close your eyes and think about happy thoughts or move your face around and you will wake up.

On the note of sleep paralysis, has anyone ever experienced hypnagogic hallucinations? I thought it was just due to psychosis I was starting to experience but it's hallucinations you get when you're laying down to sleep. I was putting my ipod away after listening to it and the headphone cord just turned into a spider web. I dropped it and screamed and then bugs started crawling on the walls. Kinda sucked

sleep paralysis is often accompanied with sleep terrors and hallucinations. read it up on google, they are not fun. I am not saying everyone will get them but they are common

Sleep paralysis ain't scary if you know it's coming. Worst part is having fucked up breathing/ heart rate. Just deal with it. Hallucinations and shit are kind of cool if you're expecting them

Sounds a lot like astral projection to me.

In my experience, the best way to lucid dream is to work on dream recollection. This means keeping a dream journal. I lucid dream about 4-5 times a week and have come up with cues and patterns that tell myself I am dreaming. For example, I wear a digital watch in real life. When I look at the time in my dreams, it is flashing 12:00. Just little things like that.

Once you learn how to lucid dream, you can learn to bend the physics of your own dream; for example, I have figured out how to fly in my dreams. So whenever, I realize I am dreaming, I fly around my subconscious, looking for girls to fuck.

This post represents a temporary way to lucid dream (You aren't going to follow this process every time you go to bed). For the people who sleep like normal people do, a dream journal is your the fastest and most secure way into the world of lucid dreaming.

this. most of the lucid dreams i have had involved skiing. First i would just fly off the lip of a jump and over shoot it which would scare me because i would zoom over trees and over forests and stuff but later after i learned about lucid dreams and controlling them, the skiing became more intense. One of my most vivid skiing lucid dreams, i still remember the texture and firmness of my ski when i grabbed it in the air. Pretty remarkable.

On the note of sleep paralysis and lucid dreams, i have had one experience last week where i woke up around 5:45 and i said "i have another hour to sleep." I went back to bed and had a vivd dream then it ended and i thought i was awake with my eyes open. It was still pretty dark out but then i heard a noise outside my room, the door which usually is partially closed opened slightly, i didnt see it i heard it. Then there were monstrous footsteps that shook the ground. I wasn't sure if i was dreaming or if it was an earthquake. Right when it seemed like whatever was walking around was at my bed, my alarm went off. I had been asleep the whole time. Scared me pretty bad.

tldr; hear footsteps in my room, ground is shaking. think its an earthquake. wake up.

read all 5 pages, trying it tonight. Gonna keep a journal. Pretty stoked, can anyone help me with this dilemma: I hate writing stuff, is it cool if i just record it into a voice recorder, will this fuck shit up? ( will update tomorrow after i try)

I literally have been trying this for a good 3 months now. But don't do as OP says and use the WILD technique. terrible idea. I've heard stories of some extremely messed up stuff. Another tip that has helped me extremely: It's kind of like a reality check but what you need to do is simply think about someone who has passed away that you were extremely close to. Chances are they will eventually end up in your dream and your conscious will click and know that it is impossible for them to be there so you must be dreaming. Don't flip out and wake yourself up though. Thats happened to me. Just be cool and go get yourself mad pussy.

voice recorder Will still work, same concept as writing. just using your mind to remember what happened and recording it either with writing or voice.

Never went into sleep paralysis but have had a lucid dream recently. I was driving in my car and realized in my dream that no matter how much I pushed on the gas pedal, the car wouldn't go faster. Then I decided to slap myself in the face and when I felt no pain I realized I was dreaming. I kept slapping myself in the face and yelling "wake up" and then I woke up. It was pretty cool but I wish I would have embraced the dream instead of trying, and succeeding, to get out of it.

i flew to visit my parents this past week.. havent slept in my old bed in years.. had like a crazy vivid lucid dream every night! idk why.. but i really enjoyed it cuz i never remember my dreams.

Tried this last night, and it was INCREDIBLE! within 10 min i was 'dreaming', i was skiing powder like ive never seen. next i was going through this vortex of colors, it was like a crazy trip.

Here's the scary part

I actually lost sense of reality. i was laying in bed, and i realized that, but i didnt know if i was in a dream or in reality. it was paralysis, but i mentally couldn't get myself to move. it was nuts, i felt like i was lost. finally i got a bad itch and my body scratched it on its own (if that makes sense haha), and then i woke up and everything was all better. crazy experience

Get some African Dream root, shit makes you lucid dream and you will have crazy ass dreams when you are not lucid dreaming, I've been drinking it as a tea for the last couple months before bed, and now i lucid dream 2-4 nights a week.

Sounds cool where did you buy these?

Possibly more effective than the better known Dream herb Calea zacatechichi,

this is the first time that this unique and rare ethnobotanical is

offered for sale and made available outside of Africa. Normally only the

seeds are available but we have finally managed to locate a supply of

the actual root which is used by African shamans for accessing the dream

state.

This

sacred plant which shamans of the verdant river valleys of the eastern

cape province of South Africa has the ability to induce remarkably vivid

dreams. A web site describes this plant:

"This obscure flowering

species is regarded by shamans of the South African region as a type of

"Ubulawu" or medicinal root that they call "Undela Ziimhlophe," which

translates literally as "white paths" or white ways." It is suspected

that this sacred plant's oneirongenic, or dream-inducing activity is

likely due to triterpenoid saponins contained within its roots.

Relatively small amounts of root (250 mg range) are reported to be

active. The plant exerts only minimal alterations in waking

consciousness, yet the effects upon the dream state can be profound.

How to prepare Silene capensis (Ubulawu)

Method 1 :

Half

a teaspoon is mixed with half a cup of water. This is drunk early in

the morning upon waking, while the stomach is empty. When you feel

hungry it is safe to have breakfast.

Method 2 :

A

heaped tablespoon is mixed with half a liter of water, and the water

blended until a froth is formed. Keep sucking the froth off the

container until you feel bloated with froth, and then go to bed.

Expected Results :

While

sleeping, your dreams will be exceptionally colorful, and will be

remembered upon awakening. (A good idea is to keep a notebook handy for

writing down the results.) Ubulawu is traditionally used to access

dream-time and to communicate with ones ancestors.

Precautions :

Use

the recommended amounts only; the actives are active in these

doses. Larger amounts will have a purgative action, however there are no

fatalities or harmful side effects reported, only a good vomiting and

cleansing out of the stomach. Small doses over several days will affect

even the most insensitive person, so there is no need to take a large

amount.

Drink

it on an empty stomach, and then when you feel hungry, you can eat.

This will give the alkaloids time to travel through your system. The

effects will be felt that night. The alkaloids travel quite slowly

through the blood system, so it won't get excreted out during the day.

Before going to sleep, focus on a question you want answered by the

ancestors.

One of the ancestors will appear in your dream with

the answer. This plant is not just used for vivid dreams, but as a

divination tool. For more insensitive persons, or for people who use

other alkaloids or have other
alkaloids

in their system. A more `clean' person would be more sensitive. The

alkaloids from using some over a few days would build up in your system.

A

personal report from someone who was initiated as a sangoma

(traditional healer) says the group he was with used 1/5tsp. (powdered)

over the course of a week. He felt effects from day 3, and everyone in

the group felt effects during the course of this week. We now offer Silene capensis in an easier to use powder form!!

anybody ever tried to astral travel after figuring out lucid dreaming, took me a long time to figure out. but its some incredibly trippy stuff.

I had a wierd ass dream where i went to windells and some kid on my grade was drinking rum in the airport, i realized this couldnt be happening, understood it was a dream but i couldnt do shit and convinced my stupid dream self that it was real

dude you dont remember at all do you?

We were at windells earlier this year and you took a nasty fall on a cannon rail, you knocked yourself into a coma for 30 or so days. I dont know how you know about us drinking at the airport tho, we got fakes in the city while you were hospitalized and we visited you.

Wake up

Youre still dreaming

This isnt real

Had my first memorable sleep paralysis moment. It was weird as fuck. I thought my dad walked into my room because I saw a shadowy figure at the end of my bed and it sounded like he was whispering my name over and over again. I tried to say "what?" back to him but my mouth didn't open. I snapped out of it somehow and realized my dad wasn't in my room. It seemed like he was and he was calling my name. This is some scary shit.

when i was younger i always had lucid dreams, especially in the summer where my sleep schedule was just stay up as late as possible, they mostly turned to be nightmares

I am an occasional lucid dreamer. IT IS NOT SOMETHING TO FUCK WITH. Most of the time they are quite fun... but occasionally i will have a nightmare combined with lucid dream. Nothing is more terrifying, because you are stuck in a horror movie, just trying to survive/save someone. Its worse than a normal nightmare because your sentinent when you have it. I have watched my family get killed and not been able to stop it (although i did kill a few people) The effects that can have on you when you wake up is rediculous. I try to not have ythem any more, becuase they have been getting increasingly violent (even my good ones).

In middle school when i used to play football i would be like half awake half asleep and would think people from my team were standing at the foot of my bed talking to me and I would respond and when i spoke it would jar me out of it and i would be fully awake.

This would repeat at least 10 times a night whenecver it happened

I'm going to try this tonight, I'll post what I get in my dream journal by tomorrow. I bet I'll just fall asleep though. I really like sleeping.
