How to lucid dream tonight!

i search barred it, nothing came up. so here we go:

The most effective means of lucid dreaming is to invoke Sleep Paralysis. This is where your body has been shut down by your mind, but you are still awake. Your dream states begin and you are fully conscious the entire time.

I found this is the quickest way for someone to begin lucid

dreaming on the first attempt.

Lay down to go to sleep. This works best if you are extremely tired.

Lay on your back with your arms at your side and eyes closed. STAY

PERFECTLY STILL. You must stay awake. Your brain will send signals to

your body to see if you are ready to sleep. These signals include

getting an itch, wanting to change your body position, or wanting to blink or move your eyeballs (remember your eyes should be closed). YOU MUST IGNORE ALL OF THESE IMPULSES. After about 20-30 minutes you will feel a weight on your chest. You may even hear weird noises. You are now in sleep paralysis. If you open your eyes you will begin to hallucinate (dream with your eyes open) and you will not be able to move your body. Your body is completely asleep. Now that you are aware you are dreaming. You can shut your eyes and begin to dream about anything you want, instantly. You will be fully aware you are dreaming and can now (with some practice) control your dreams.

Now that you are lucid dreaming there are a few tricks to:

A. Check to see if you are dreaming

B. Stay dreaming while fully aware you are dreaming

A. You can do a few things in a dream to test and see if you are

dreaming.

You can flip a light switch. Flipping a light switch will never turn on

a light. Most of the times it does nothing.

Another thing to do is look in a mirror. You will never see yourself.

Once you have done this, you have confirmed you are dreaming, and now have control over your dreams.

B. Once you realize you are dreaming, your mind will try to wake up.

The best method (I found) to stay asleep and dreaming is to spin in a

circle (in your dream). This part of the brain will take all of the

attention away from waking up and now you will be into a DEEP sleep.

Good luck!

Yes. i am the dream master.

As much as I would love to do this, there is no way I could lay perfectly still for 30 mins, without even moving my eye balls! Also, i heard that right when you enter sleep paralysis, its creepy as hell! like hearing loud noises and pressure on your chest..... Damn, gives me the creeps!

I've been trying to lucid dream for over a year now and have been getting closer i would try this method but i often have sleep paralysis and that shit is scary as fuck.

face hits pillow, slight mental shutdown period, eyes close, then suddenly.... i wake the fuck up and go to school.

there is absolutely nothing in between other then 6 hours that magically disappear.

but during the summer i could lucid dream pretty well.

my tip would be to keep a notepad by your bed and when you wake up, write down everything about your dream that you remember. your brain will realize that you wanna know this and you will create nuro-pathways between your conscious and subconscious or something cool like that. i personally never did write anything down, i would mentally recall dreams for a couple mins as a i showered and got ready, seemed to work fine but nothing spectacular. the first few seconds are the most important. if you miss that youll lose 90% of your dream.

I think something similar happens when I go to bed and am really sick. Half awake half asleep, I can control thoughts but also know that I'm asleep. It's weird.

We watched a movie on sleep deprivation in human bio. This guy tried to stay awake for a week and started hallucinating corresponding to his normal dream cycles. He ended up altering his personality because it gave him permanent brain damage. That movie sketched me out, I never want to mess around with that kind of thing. I know this is completely different, but that's what it reminds me of. Not that I could do that anyway.

so true, i think dream journals are the most crucial part of lucid dreaming. also developing a cue that indicates to your conscious brain that you're asleep. pinch, looking at a clock, light switches doing different things, ect.

a week is extreme. a few days of no sleep in a row isnt bad, the key is taking naps. take ADHD meds after 6pm and they should set you on the right track to not falling alseep, if you get the 50+mg time delay ones youre good to go, i think they are called concerta. im not recommending it by any means, but if you need to stay awake all night... yeah. your body may not like it. your heart rate may increase all night and you may feel extra calm if you dont have adhd

ive heard of fucking with your REM cycle and only needing 4 perfectly timed naps a day to get all the rest your brain needs, that could be something cool to do for a year or so.

thats exactly how you dont wanna induce yourself into a lucid dream. You go into sleep paralysis and you cant move AT ALL you have to wait for your body to wake up. Not to mention you start to hallucinate too so you hear scary shit and you can see scary shit but you cant do any thing to get away from it or stop it so its basically can be like a really bad trip. I read something where this girl was in sleep paralysis and she heard something clawing and scratching at her bed but she couldnt get up to stop it. Another one a guy saw a shadow out of the corner of his eye and it kept getting closer to him but he couldnt turn and see that there really was nothing there. DONT DO IT THIS WAY. keep a dream journal and find a patter in your dreams then try and induce yourself back into a dream you've already had.

When i close my eyes to sleep i make pictures on the back of my eyelids. As soon as i realize that my pictures are being created , they dissipear. The more i practice and not allow myself to become suprised the more i can control the figures on the other side. Usually i just force the images of skiing pillows on the back of my eyelids and then soon enough, im skiing pillows and dropping HUGE shit. Next time im gonna ski with my dick out right in to a hot vag/claim.

found this method too:Two observations led LaBerge in the late 1970s to develop morning napping as a method of lucid dream induction. First, he noticed that lucidity seemed to come easier in afternoon naps. The second suggestion same from several lucid dreamers who noted that certain activities during the night appeared to induce lucid dreaming. The diverse qualities of these interruptions: sex, vomiting, and pure meditation, piqued LaBerge's curiosity regarding what feature each might possess conducive to lucidity. The answer proved to be quite simple: wakefulness interjected during sleep increases the likelihood of lucidity. In fact, the nap technique, refined through several NightLight[/i]experiments, is an extremely powerful method of stimulating lucid dreams. The technique requires you to awaken one hour earlier than usual, stay awake for 30 to 60 minutes, then go back to sleep. One study showed a 15 to 20 times increased likelihood of lucid dreaming for those practicing the nap technique over no technique. During the wakeful period, read about lucid dreaming, practice reality checks and then do MILD as you are falling asleep. The Lucidity Institute's training programs include this technique as an essential part of the schedule, one of the reasons why most participants have lucid dreams during the session.

literally the dumbest thing ever... "Sounds that make you high" its basically white noise.... and they dont work at all (not a first hand experience jsut what i heard)

I've been a lucid dreamer for the longest time and let me tell you, once you can control your dreams. Oh god, it's like having the power to do whatever the fuck you want. I've had so much fun skiing through deep fluffy pow and always remember to keep a dream journal.

That sounds terrifying. I would rather just rest. Sleep paralysis is really shitty by the way, it feels like your skin is on fire and you will most likely try and open your eyes and see fucked up shit.

I've tried this before it is insanely hard to not move like this. Plus I usually just fall asleep or roll over.

how to lucid fap: go to sleep while watching porn. turn volume up. when the climax happens you should feel yourself fapping. you dont feel anything tho.

There's a lucid dreaming club at my school. The leader said he usually just flys around and fucks tons of babes. Sounds awesome
