People do it both ways. I like to do a mellow carve left into the jump, transition my weight on the lip to my outside edges, and pop with a little extra on my right ski (spinning to the left). However, I've done them where you pop off your left ski too. Just do whatever feels most natural. From there drop your right shoulder, poke your left elbow behind you and look over your shoulder, and keep it tucked till you come around.
You can change stylistically a bit too. For instance, keep eyes forward if you want to take it more straight over like a lincoln. Or, the more you carve it and look over your shoulder, the more off axis you'll be.
Oh, and practice on a tramp if you've got one...
