How do you get your Christmas tree?

Do you go out Into the Wild and cut one down? Do you go to a tree farm and cut one down? Do you buy a pre-cut one? Flock it?I'm trying to get the family to go out and chop one down with me this year, but the only problem is most of the trees that you can cut down have been killed by the bark beetle infestation. So I'll probably just end up being boring and buying a pre-cut one.

What do you guys do?

I pick one out of the lot and take it home. Bitches be getting wet over that pine smell. Its the smell of real chirstmas.

We venture all the way to the tennis courts behind my high school to fetch our tree, and in so doing support the athletics department.
 
Go into the woods, find a massive tree, cut that bitch down. then chop the top of it off, boom perfect christmas tree!
 
i have a fake tree. no watering. no mess. i can reuse it every year. actually, i wouldnt evem put it up if it wasnt for my girl. my old roommate and i never put one up....not because im a scrooge, im just lazy.
 
My friend unbeknownst to him cut down a tree that was on the edge of a cemetery. he wanted to get a real tree for his family b/c they have some pretty significant financial issues and cant afford a nice one. cops showed up at his house a week ago and now he has a $350 fine and another court date.
 
i work for a company that trims and removes trees near powerlines so if i find a nice one while working i throw some red tape around it and cut it down later. i try to find spruces. prefer them over pine.
 
We were actually going to hack the top off one of our backyard spruces last year but my sisters self-diagnosed 'allergies' have prevented us from doing so...

We have a fake tree an it's meh...
 
I go down to the basement, carry up a large box and piece together the tree because its artificial and both of my parents are allergic to pine trees. Strangely enough, I'm not though
 
we go to a farm. we always get the biggest, fattest ones we can possibly fit. and we bring our own saw, for street cred.
 
I go to a tree farm with the family. I like getting a real tree. It makes my house smell really nice and christmas-y.
 
Tree farm for now, once I have a family and house we are going to get our tree Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation style.
 
we take it out of its box in the basement and set it up.

my dad has terrible allergies so no real trees at my house :(
 
I get my trees at this kind of sketch place called the "crawlspace". You guys probably never have heard of it though, it's pretty underground.
 
I got this mini pine looking shrub thing for a tree. I have no room in my tiny ass studio appartmen for a real tree.
 
Walked down the street to the guy selling them on the corner, picked one out and carried it home. Took about all of 8 minutes.
 
$20 at the nearest X-mas tree shop. We used to cut them down near our house but it kind of stopped being worth the effort (and we pretty much exterminated all but a few of the suitable trees)
 
My family and I usually go cut one down at a tree farm. This year though we got a pre-cut. I hate artificial trees, gotta have that real pine smell.
 
my family used to cut our own from a tree farm but they got some raggity ass trees so now we just buy them from the grocery store. less work for a better tree.
 
My town is legitimately the christmas tree farming capitol of the state, if not the country. So i can just go to any number of my non-inner city (its funny cause there's less than 300 people) friends houses and go grab a tree and they don't care...
 
we just put up a festivus pole and if anybody asks what it is we beat the shit out of them, thus displaying our feats of strength

Hes not paying for the tree, hes paying a fine for cutting a tree down. Its not like they just sent him an invoice for a tree. BTW how did they catch him?
