Just go past alta as far as you can drive. Then you will see a groumed run and you can go up that and then take a left and then fallow the power lines. or go straight up from the parking lot and about 100 feet up you will see a trail and you can walk. then chads will be about 20 min away. So simple go to the end of the parking lot and go up the gulch.
