the first man looks, and if the two he can see are either white white or black black, then he says that he must be whatever the color is opposite those. if they are black and white, he cant know, so he says he doesnt know. if he says he doesnt know, then the second man knows that the man next to him and himself have opposite color hats on, so he based on that mans hat, he says the opposite
 
well if "they" guess wrong, then it sounds like some of them can guess wrong once without all of them getting excecuted. with them being able to see at least one of the other hats, they should be able to figure it out before all of them guess wrong

it's a logical riddle:
they are lined up like X O X (WALL) OThey face to the right, they can see all hats in front of them (not behind the wall) but they cannot see their own hat.they are not allowed to move or turn or talk...they have 10min time to be 100% certain of their color; once they know their color for sure, they can call it out and be free...
if one answers wrong they all die, they are not allowed to guess, if 1 answers correctly they are all free...

the guy on the end looks up at the brim of his hat, then looks at the two people infront of him then knows what the last hat colour will be.

ok, so the second man will be answering most likely

the first man looks to his right, and if he sees two of the same color, for example white, then he knows he must be black and blurts it out

if the 10 minutes passes and the first man has not said anything, then the second man knows that him and the third man must have different colored hats, so he must be the opposite of whatever the man to his right is, and says that.

ie first doesnt talk, second looks to his right, sees black, and knows for certain that he is white, blurts out white, they are all freed

Middle guy waits for 9 minutes then looks at the hat in front of him; let's say it's white; then he knows his hat is black...

how does he know?

He waited 9minutes; if he had been wearing the same color hat as the guy in front of him; the guy behind him would've called out his color (there are only 2Bl and 2 Wh hats)
The guy behind him hasn't called out so he knows he's wearing a different color...

riddle solved, they're all free now...

well if it was a baseball hat he could just look up and see the color of the bill but i guess the hard way works too

this one is so vague. she couldve died via heartattack, stroke, falling, etc. the guy couldve shot an explosive tank of gas right next to her, or shot a bird that conveniently fell on her with the beak stabbing her in the face, or caused an avalanche. this one is just stupid. or after hiking she went home and was stabbed to death. it never says she was found dead on the mountain

He was stranded on an island with one live guy and one dead guy. The live guy cooks him a meal and says it's an albatross that he killed. They are later saved and the guy goes out for a meal, sees albatross on the menu, and orders it. When he takes a bite of his burger, he realizes that the meat he ate on the island was NOT albatross, but in fact the dead guy, so he kills himself.
 
he was out on the ocean with his friends and their boat and radio broke down and they couldnt call for help. they were there for days and they ran out of food so they shot down albatrosses but there still wasnt enough food. then they decided they would draw straws to see who would sacrifice their life so the others could eat that person. the man's best friend lost and they killed him and chopped him up into meat. they put that meat in a separate container than the albatross meat and they mixed it up so they didnt know which one was which. The man ate some of the meat and they were rescued later that day. when he goes into the bar he orders an albatross burger and realizes that it tastes different than the meat he had on the boat so he realizes that he ate his best friend and he goes and kills himself. THE END

You turn on switches 1 and 2. You wait till the ten minutes is about to expire. Then you turn off switch 2. If the light is on, switch 1 is connected to the light. If the bulb is warm but off, switch two is connected to the lightbulb. If the bulb is off and cold, switch 3 is connected. Not sure if you can touch the lightbulb though.

Nope, he is scuba diving when a plane scoops up water to put of the fire with and he gets sucked into the plane and thrown over the fire.
